So colour me surprised when this guy Norrie who's fast becoming a darling of Britain rolls up for an interview after winning his match and then starts going on about thus n thut.

    Go unzed.

@bones I don't reckon we pronounce it unzud. Surely we pronounce the N like it starts with an E and the Z like it has an E in the middle.

Edit: Just realised you spelt unzed. But the point still stands in part. I reckon Aussies get it wrong when they give us shit for that.

@bones ya reckon? I always imagined thought we said N as though it started with E rather than an I.

Didn't realise the NZ connection with Norrie. Born in SA to British parents who moved him to NZ when he was 3. According to Wiki, low funding from tennis NZ may be a reason he is now representing GB. Pity, we are well overdue a decent tennis player.

@crazy-horse yeah, I was pretty surprised when I heard him speak - happy to claim him until he becomes a failure.

Good shot of eliminating Federer in next round.

What odds would you have got on a US Open women's final between Fernandez and Raducanu?

How cool. Watched both the semis. In the first I was just waiting for Fernandez to get overpowered but too good.

Really looking forward to the final.

What's great to see is the joy these two are playing with. Exuberance of youth?

Djoker is one game away from a finals berth. Pushed to 5 by Zverev but he's up 5-0. Showing his greatness again

The Joker will end up the GOAT after this match (if he isn't already). Unbelievable player especially when you take into account the players he's had to beat to get win his GS titles.

The top 3 players in the history of the game all playing each other at or near their peak. And he's come out on top. Unbelievable
