I downloaded that film (superman cartoon part 2) for my son thinking that it was a kid's cartoon. It was ok until the Joker went beserk. Fark that was some disturbing shit.

Rush was pretty good. They overplayed the rivalry in order to have a plot, but there was nothing fake about what went down that season. Lauda's comeback has to be the greatest in the history of sport. Daniel Bruel was brilliant as Lauda. Chris Hemsworth once again looked the part, but fark what a shit actor.

The Wedding Ringer - bit of a bromantic comedy about a dude who is getting married to a chick that is out of his league (Penny from Big Bang) and he has no mates, so he hires someone to be his best man and organise his groomsmen.

I thought it was amusing enough, obviously silly too, but some giggles and laughs for most of the movie, with the obvious ending, thought it was decent!

No Avengers review yet so I'll go first.

Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. I saw this in 3D IMAX and it was great. I normally can't stand 3D but it was really worth it and actually justifies doing it over 2D if they get it this right. As for the movie as a whole I thought the narrative was better than the first Avengers movie while being just as fun and having lots of good set piece action pieces.

- The Thor movies are my least favourite of the Marvel stable but he was probably the funniest character in this one.

- Mild spoiler:
Does every Marvel movie/tv show have to have an aircraft/heli carrier? It seems so.
- Quicksilver was a decent character but they just showed him at quick speed all the time - no point trying to repeat X Men's great slo-mo of him I guess.

- I still don't get how Jeremy Renner is a 'thing' but he plays Hawkeye pretty well.

I just checked to see how it is going on Box Office Mojo and it hasn't actually been properly released worldwide yet. I assume it will be big if anyone has any money left after Furious 7.

Can't believe I forgot this - got to see the Star Wars trailer in IMAX 3D, man that was awesome, Chewie in 3D!!! I'm even more excited to see it now.

Annoyingly saw the extended trailer for Terminator - it basically gave away the whole plot in a way the original trailer didn't. Bloody annoying as I would have had no idea exactly where they were going with characters and now I know exactly.

Saw Mad Max again and every time I see the trailer the less I want to see the movie.

The secret is low expectations, as Nepia says. Disappointment on a movie ticket only comes with excitement.

I saw the original Mission Impossible on release night in the George Street cinemas here in Sydney. Place was packed, and it was fucking awesome.

I made sure to see the next one in the cinema, and was hyped. Which made it all the more shit.

That Terminator trailer pissed me off. Huge spoiler in it that would have been really enjoyable to see while actually watching the fucking film. Two actually.

I am watching Bringing Out The Dead and it is a good movie. There is a 10,000 Maniacs song on the soundtrack and it is so very, very bad.

Probably not the best joke for Superman to make since he lost three parents to Bruce's two...

Family movie night last night - stayed in and cranked up the AppleTV.

Penguins of Madagascar.

I have not laughed so hard at such ridiculousness since I don't know when. 90 minutes of just utter silliness, and it worked.

Michael Mann plays a lot of games with exposure time to control motion blur in Blackhat. It's fucking great what he does. As a Phantom camera owner, I love every bit of it.

being better than Thor 2 or Iron Man 25 is not much of a way to judge a movie.

Titties would have been good though

They would have been green or red or yellow tho

I'd rank it up there with the original iron man movie as the best one
Thing is it's got a completely different feel to the other films, I've lost count actually how many times I've revisited it as well, a kick ass soundtrack doesn't hurt either

I thought it was pretty shit hot without any comparisons to recent superhero stuff. Agree that titties would have been good but it would have lost that nice balance between kid/adult appeal. I thought it was excellent as having something for everyone no matter your age.
