@Kruse Chicago game is on BT Sport 2 1945 in UK.
Fuck it. All the other rugby has been on Skysport so that's the one I subscribe to. BT sport is endless Wendyball.
Yeah, its fucking ridiculous, used to be Sky covered everything, now to give the consumer more choice fricking BT has a stack of random stuff, they have the Aussie v SA cricket series too. Its one of the best example of how legislation designed to help consumers has fucked them very hard indeed due to retards drafting it. Can you get one service for just soccer? Nope? Rugby? Nope. Cricket? Nope!

It certainly sounds like you made the right decision.... -

It's more of the continuing attempts by BT sports to disrupt Sky coverage and dominance in the rugby market. They outbid them for the Aviva Premiership. They split the European Cup coverage which is a real pain in the ass trying to watch it at weekends. EirSport in Ireland bought Setanta (an Irish company) and then bid successfully for the RWC 2019, and the Six Nations. So now coverage is all over the place on different channels.
I've found a pub that says it will show it apparently because there's no bloody soccer on at 8pm on a Saturday worth showing.

Didn't take long. Not even an English newspaper.
Next year I'm going to do a NH bingo game with a prize of a couple Denis Lalane books for the first one to get
a haka troll
mention of BOD nearly dying
A manatee thrashwank about the refs favouring the abs
Three mentions of the aura
An accusation of arrogance
Two mentions of poaching
A mention of "south seas islanders" the only time I ever see this term is when a nh writer/troll is making a cock of himself.
A diatribe about a transgression from the abs that went unpunished
A fuckwitted tweet from Brian Moore. There's a couple more spaces to fill if anyone has any ideas?
The IRA threatened the All Blacks in 1973...
Luck of the Irish
Haven't beaten them in 123,657 years
ex-England coach thinks Ireland have a chance
Ireland have never beaten New Zealand
ex-England coach thinks Ireland have to believe
Dump Trump, Ireland urged - unknown Irish politician thinks Ireland shouldn't stay in Trump hotel - it might influence US election
Etc, etc -

It certainly sounds like you made the right decision....A culmination of many things - I left Ireland at the age of 12, never to return apart from necessity and work
. My Mum left it in 1939 and couldn't return for over 30 years because she, staunch RC from Waterford had the temerity to marry an Anglican. So yeah I am pretty predisposed to count Ireland as a regressive environment.
Christ yes...I got very tired of having to run to school between barricades in 72-75 (Belfast). I also got really tired of the intransigence of the Daíl in recognising the many thousands of Irish volunteers who served in the UK armed forces during ww2. And don't get me started on de Valera and his vomitus condolences to Dönitz on the death of AH. I could say even more about the abrogation of duty of Irish peacekeepers on UN duty over the years having seen the results at first hand. -
@Bones - where I'm from, we switch allegiances to whoever's winning anyway. If the Highlanders had managed to put together a winning streak, you'd have seen the next generation of Barretts playing for them in a few years, as Taranaki somehow justified being in their catchment area.
Anyway - I've managed to find an easily swayed paddy bar manager - promising to play the game at the Heron in Paddington, if I wear an Ireland shirt.
Like fuck. -

Etc, etcI hope Trump isn't in the headlines next year ,but really they need to be the repetitive trolls we see year after year. 2, 3, and 5 would do. You'd need to add in a mention of Munster to round that out though.

Ah I have some good Irish mates, and they can be great craic.
However, the Irish specialise in chip on the shoulder, bitter and twisted, and I think most Kiwis remember Irish fans in 2007.
If we must lose this season, France please.

@NTA fuck. Now that's poor. And a first?
Believe so. We've always had the Wallaby games for EOYT but apparently this time the rights were sold and Channel Ten weren't going to fork out.

In between TV broadcasting gripes, the Irish have confirmed a host of players who (I think) were likely to be in the 23 will not play this game: Sean O'Brien, Peter O'Mahoney, Paddy Jackson, and Iain Henderson.
Can the likes of Pot Hale (or even William Tell) tell us about the likely effect on the Irish team of these late absences. Were they likely to be starters (I know Jackson wouldn't be) or are they not the loss I think they are?

Only my grandma called me William...
SOB is a quality player, but only just back from injury. He went pretty well for Leinster in the weekend, but I think Schmidt feels he is not quite there yet. Ditto for POM, although Stander is pretty like for like. It could be an inspired move by Schmidt as I expect them in the mix for Dublin.
Jackson's form has dipped a bit recently, albeit behind a fairly woeful Ulster pack. Carberry has looked good at lower levels, but it's a massive step up. I think Jackson would have been 22 for sure, if only because of experience. He went pretty well in SA too. Henderson has been carrying injury and not so good this season. On form he's a very good lock. It's a bonus for NZ, because I think Donncha Ryan is in the journeyman category a bit. I like Dillane, but he will probably be on the bench for lock.
The biggest selection choice to look out for is Henshaw 12/Ringrose 13/Payne 15 vs Henshaw/Payne/Kearney. The latter would be a safe but uninspiring choice by Schmidt, but it's generating the most debate among Irish supporters.
Keep an eye out for Van der Flyer at 7, he has quite impressed me, but we see how he goes against top level opposition.

I thought you guys were getting a bit precious by pre-empting all the NH tour bingo stuff. Then I read that haka article and realised it was more than just a haka article and he managed to get it all in the one article. Jesus, he just went on and on.
Reading the comments, the reader's agreed it was a shit article, to be fair.
I do take a peverse pride that people think we can plan and organise a pre-mediated attack (in just the minute between haka and kickoff) - after some grass picking - and then execute this plan within 40 seconds - so effectively that it is tour-ending.
Fuck we're good. We're like the Mossad of rugby.
I recommend we neither confirm nor deny this allegation.
So proud.

It's about 50:50.
Including some bright spark suggesting the Irish just do their warmups during the haka. I think that would be brilliant personally, let's see what happens.
