@Jet I agree but it's not the kiwi way . We leave that stuff to rassie etc
Well, except for the kiwis calling for refs to be executed etc.
Fuck that man. Death threats is the new get out of jail card for incompetence. Politicians and refs the world over are leaning on that particular gambit every time they shit the bed.
I hope Andrew Brace steps on dog shit and his flight home is delayed but I don’t want him deceased.
Well actually, fuck it. Kill him.
Ok you go onto my ignore list. Keep a control of yourself man.

He didn't even get it over the line FFS
Being very contrary but consider the complexity of the laws, did
Jordie knock the ball on in the tackle?
Did Mbonambi then ground the ball playing under SA advantage? In theory he may have, and let’s say he did, the fact is that it’s never been reffed like that in a tackle. It has been reffed as a knock on from a strip/rip but that’s not what Jordie did.
Plenty of times it’s been called as a defensive knock on when a hand or head in the tackle has seen the ball squeezed out like a zit
No it doesn't Mike, you're over egging it. It's only called that way if it's a strip or a hand on the pass. Not if you hit someone and they drop it, that's just stupid.

I thought the ref generally had a good game.
Well that makes you and Mrs Brace.
You can add me to the list as he generally has a good game. But the 5% of the time where he didn’t have a good game…
In saying that I’ve always maintained that the best sides find a way to win in spite of the ref. Notably mccaw’s sides over the years, 2007 excepted.

The tight forwards looked good to me, would slip Ofa off the bench and welcome back the Groot but it is what it is.
But BB had another blah game, Ioane needs to recover his attacking mojo, and I'm still not convinced on Mark T, can he jump in the air, can he keep up? A weapon if he is back to 100%Loosies for me, Cane was doing ok but overall they are too slow and not dangerous. I'd be tempted to bench Ardie and find a faster player at 6 or 7 (Lakai?) I agree there is a height problem but note if Cane was at 6 he'd lose a cm against EB. Going by stats. And plays like a 6. I do note Matfield praised EB's meddling against the Argie lineout but EB just doesn't seem to know what to do with the ball when in hand.
Ardie is not going to be benched. We get these wistful hopeful posts every game he plays. Not going to happen.

Razor's bench management has been absolutely terrible all year, he keeps destroying the team's cohesion and shape with his poor timing & decisions.
What on earth happened to his great feel for the game and momentum while coaching the Crusaders? What happened to his astute use of the bench that we witnessed in those knockout games?
He continues to take off the wrong players and also makes too many changes at the wrong time which ruins the team's cohesion - see 2nd-half Argentina at Eden Park..
I feel Razor left changes from the bench too late & momentum started to swing back towards the Boks by the time our bench came on & then they got flustered.

We’ll agree to disagree
Because I’ve seen it with my own eyes and heard the explanation from the ref on his mic

But even if it was called a knock on, as Chris said It’s still not leading to a try as the attacker then played it from the ground
You’re allowed to dab the ball down off your feet in the act of scoring a try

Of course he's not, there's no one to replace him.
Easy to see why they left Sotutu put though, what with all Ardie's massive impact so far on both attack and defence.

I'll agree if you can cite a couple of examples.

Totally hamstrung ourselves by assuming Ardie was going to be great and picking a development player they don't trust to play instead of a 2nd genuine option.
Love to be proved wrong and see Sititi lining up to start in the next one, but zero chance. -

I thought our loosies were pretty good. The game was lost by poor options and indiscipline in the last 15. I fully expect the same starting loose forwards next week although I suppose they might restore papalili if he’s fit. Whether finau is on the bench is another matter. The guy that the forum went spare on because he missed the RWC squad looks out of his depth so far. This years pita gus.

Has a player ever been penalised for calling out foul play from the other side to try and get a penalty before? Can anyone remember? I know they get walked 10m sometimes for backchat, but to penalise someone calling for a penalty was pretty unprecedented from what I can tell. We were dominating up to that point and it should have been 10-0, but that swung momentum, and then just to top it off the try they scored on the back of that momentum was complete horseshit.
I thought out players composed themselves well again after that, and we threatened to run away with it but just couldn't quite put them away. Then ill discipline cost us at the end when the game was closer than it should have been, and SA rode the wave home - credit to them for that.
We were so close to winning, we just found a way to lose. But it was nice to see a plan, despite questionable execution at times. Considering how hard it is to win in the Republic, especially Ellis Park, I hope we look back at the end of the season and see this as a foundational performance that leads to better things

Press pointed out that we are 0-34 in the last twenty mins for the RC. Razor didn't realized 'I'll have a look at that' FFS that's worryingly dumb for a head coach
Maybe he just didn't want to say anything else? I can't believe he didn't know the stats

Is it? Do you expect an AB coach to know every possible statistic that might be thrown his way?
IMO we get much more out of this test than SA. We had that game and we can look at how we finish out the matches.

You're kidding right? If he wasn't foxing, it's an extremely remarkable confession. What coach worth his salt wouldn't know this most basic of statistics?
