Really?<br><br>
Was it this in response to four particular guys "You guys are so blinded by your beloved team. It bangs of not having a whole lot else"?<br><br>
Or was it this in response to three of those same four guys "in fairness you guys are never guilty of foul play!"<br><br>
And these pretty innocuous tweets are in response to things these guys have said but this is not shown.<br><br>
Get out in the sun a bit more, it might thicken up that skin.</p>

But on a NZ rugby forum, it's hardly a surprise that people are going to have a crack at him for those comments, particularly when he's not exactly a fan favourite to begin with. Nothing unusual or odd there.<br> <br>Who cares what provoked the Tweet btw? He's an idiot for getting into a fight on Twitter in the first place. Now some sad anonymous NZer (lets call him Wingar) is happily pulling himself over having provoked an Irish rugby legend over absolutely nothing.</p></blockquote><br>I totally agree with the last bit. Stupidity really.<br><br>Quote Cato (above) "Unfortunately people won't let that go and seemingly he's not bright enough to ignore that. <p style="color:rgb(48,48,48);font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;">“I didn’t think of it like that,’’ he said. “It was an All Black trying to stop me driving through the maul, arms everywhere and everything happening in a few seconds.</p>

<p> </p>
<p>Good input from Douglas. It wasn't an eye gouge because fingers did not go into the eyes... but we need to be getting hands away from the face altogether to remove all doubt.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Is the fact that fingers seemingly <em>did not</em> go into the eyes a verdict the citing commissioner makes or the judging panel? I would have thought it was close enough to the eyes to warrant further review by the panel? Maybe the citing commissioner has more scope than I realised. I guess the games has lots of incidents and only the ones that need a penalty handed out go to the panel.</p> -
<p>bit different from the Galarza incident that some are using as evidence that the All Blacks get treated differently - Brodie reported to the doctor at 1/2 time a finger had dislodged his contact.</p>

<p>I'm not upset about anything really, just slightly mystified about how something so inane gets people so up in arms. As to BOD's dig at NZ as a whole, that's stretching things somewhat and the outrage it seems to cause is in contrast to the level of importance of the actual tweet, not to mention totally ignoring what provoked the tweet. As an Englishman I see God knows how many ex-players, celebs, hangers on, journos having a pop at England, the English, the British (when it's a Taff, Jock or Paddy), making all sorts of generalisations, none of them complimentary and you know what? I couldn't care less. It says a lot more about whoever the dickhead is than it does about me, England, the English or the British.</p>
</blockquote>
<br><p>Did BOD (o other NH pundits) get all enraged about the Aussie that did what Frank's did? Cos to me that is the problem here, the perceived injustices we get away with creating a shit storm in the NH virtual world, but that has all but been ignored as it doesn't suit the narrative?<br><br>
I expect most would have been less feral in their replies if he had been fighting the fight for foul play pointing both examples rather than the dig at NZ, again, although some people are feral and no amount of even handed ness can keep them at bay.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For the record, it deserved a citing and thorough investigation and probably at least 2 weeks off, but I expect nothing short of a life ban would appease some of the nutters.</p> -
I've gone almost 180 flip on this.<br><br>
Having seen the normal side on angle here, I think from a link to a Twitter warrior, then the reverse angle from the smh article - I thought that was pretty damning.<br><br>
But on the Breakdown last night there was the front on footage, and, yeah, not a gouge. Just a facial.<br><br>
Spectacularly bad PR by Sanzar.<br><br>
Wouldn't mind a short ban, as facials close to the eyes aren't good for starters.<br><br>
Are these people at Sanzar too young to remember how bad the PR was from Richard Poke-eye? -

Has this been posted yet?
Bit disappointing to see Kafer behaving like such a tool otherwise is so pitiful its hilarious.
This interview with Kafe was quite interesting too
-
Haha THAT is the example they use to show the ABs have a lack of humility? Pathetic.
Im loving the tears from the Wallabies and their supporters/media. It shows they are in deep shit and have no idea how to get out of it. Im hoping the Boks can add to their misery this weekend. -
while this could hold alot of tears, I dont expect it is big enough for the torrents that have flowed the past 2 weeks!
-
Kafer says "no doubt they [Wallabies] had a plan"
Without wanting to sound like I lack humility, but that is rubbish. I saw no plan from the Wallabies. Attack still sucked. Defensive alignment still slow to get in position.
Since the England series Kafer has been getting a little more shirty with his comments. He's a good commentator/analyst but now he's going down that well travelled trap that many a commentator has fallen into of wanting to be more than that. Expressing their faux outrage when there's nothing to see. Calling for laws to change, blaming refs/judiciaries/citing commissioners/hakas/mascots etc for poor results.
Rodney, if you're out there lurking, rise above the muck of where Kearns and Marto reside. Your Canberra Grammar education would've taught you a thing or two about when to shut up and focus on what's real and what's not. Yes a good rivalry with the All Blacks can help the game, but that comes because of competitive stuff on the field, not some beat up story that takes 5 minutes of your show.
All in my humble opinion of course.....

@jegga said in Bledisloe II - Have a stab at the teams.:
How weak would you have to be to take offence to the comments from Cane and Retallick? Love the clip of Retallick holding two of the wimps in yellow back at arms length.
It's not just the morons on Fox. You should have been on GNGR a few days ago, they were bleating like petulant school children over Cane and Retallick's comments.Couldn't believe what I was reading.

That is sooo funny.
Shark jumping seems to be du jour.
