Am I the only one who thought Christie was alright off the bench? Thought he controlled things and helped us close the game out well.

Just because he doesn't possess Aaron Smith's pass doesn't mean he didn't play well in other areas.

He had a couple of very good phases especially in the lead up to that penalty kick (that DMac never took). But too much standing around for my liking.

Reece was excellent and Pat T
A worry at 9 and 10 for me.

First Test, with not much prep against a strong opponent. I'm not going to be too critical because I always thought this would be tough.

Nice to have a win and plenty to learn from and to improve on before Test 2 in Auckland.

man, Razor's PR work is on point, down on the field with the sideline crew, talking through game tape - love it.

Christie was fine, he just (same as TJ) needs to act rather than fuck about. Bullet pass Smith is missed, but more that fact he rarely wasted time at the ruck. Just play and don't wait

Please no, he's awful this season. Reece would be great there no shit, he does well and is often there when the nine didn't make it

@booboo ah fair enough - i'm using an illegal stream to watch the game - normally the legal canada feed cuts off when the game is finished, so this is all new to me 🙂

How was Smith able to do that, did he just have a better feel for where the game was going, trust himself to make instant calls?

The issue is Christie has never changed the time wasting and we are years and years into his career.

He's not going to suddenly change.

Yeah I think everyone has all their fingers and toes crossed Roigard can get back to his best after that horrific injury.

Reece has a good fast pass so no he can't be an AB 9 🙂
