LoveYou’d pick Christie over Perenara. LOL

@Canes4life I really don't want either of them in the ABs. If Roigard was available then I definitely wouldn't have either. Thought Perenara's passing and control were rather poor tonight. Back to the bad old days for him.
-
@Tim fair, I felt both halves were messy tonight, but I felt that was the nature of the game with both teams going so hard at the breakdown. Perenara has shown awesome form this year that will get him selected again. Roigard aside, he’s defs one of the top three halfbacks in the country atm IMO.

Let's talk exits.
A frequently expressed sentiment on the forum is that posters would love to see an another option, than the 10, with a big boot who can reliably clear long and deep from the 22. I certainly feel that way.
Who are the best options in the country to fill that role? Who are the best backs at clearing in each position?
9 Roigard
10 McKenzie
11 Stevenson
12 J Barrett
13 ?
14 Jordan
15 SullivanOf those, Roigard, Jordan, and Sullivan are injured, McKenzie's distance and form are well down this year, and Stevenson is very out of form and is kicking less. (Parsons talked mid-week about how the Chiefs are kicking a lot less this season, and it seems they are not kicking very well when they choose to.) Jordie Barrett seems to seldom kick from the back now.
So what options does that leave?

@antipodean Good call.

@ruggabee Ardie improved immensely last year as captain. I remember the majority on here wanted him to stay captain but obviously Cane took over again.
In fact, did Ardie lose a game as captain last year? His winning percentage was way higher than Canes wasn’t it?
I mean, Savea's win percentage was higher, but that's hardly a fair measure. Cane captained in all five of the All Blacks' tough Tests (SA 1, SA 2, France, Ireland, SA 3) and they won two and lost three. Savea wasn't asked to be captain in any of the tough games.

@Tim ENS has a big left foot.
Didn't Narawa also produce some pretty impressive touch-finders in today's game?
-
@Victor-Meldrew same with Proctor.

LoveYou're missing two players even if you have both Numia and Williams. 32 man squad and you've named 30. A halfback and a lock I imagine.

He did.
I'd prefer TWO FUCKIN HANDS when running in tries though. -

I'd prefer TWO FUCKIN HANDS when running in tries though.And an AB winger should not be caught when running in an intercept. He was woefully slow.

@Canes4life just wait and see, Mr McDonald rates him
