Ryan Crotty for sure.

Was he injured or could he not get past Nonu, Smith and SBW?
My Rugby short term memory is appalling

Made of glass. I recall him and Smith had a phenomenal 40 min together during one Bled game. Then Crotty got injured

Charlie Ngatai is surely our best midfielder
On a serious note, Richard Kahui was a genuine loss to the AB's. Had something special about him.

Mike Brewer at 6. Jack Goodhue could take a midfield spot
No chance. He played an entire World Cup and a fair few games in between
He literally got ruled out of the 1991 RWC in a fitness test and missed the 1987 RWC due to injury too. But sure, if you say so.

I said them in another thread, but Nehe Milner-Skudder and Richard Kahui are obvious ones.
Braydon Ennor and to an extent, Jack Goodhue for the more recent examples that haven't been mentioned.

@African-Monkey Kahui seems healthy in comparison to some of these guys. I know he was injured a lot, but not a lot a lot.
I think @sparky has just opened up a NZ rugby almanac collection and is pointing out random names.

I place Kahui and Brewer in a similar group. Both could have had far greater AB careers, one had been touted as a future captain. At least Kahui got a chance to win a RWC

Mark Ranby, wasnt he the original foodbill?

There's a name. Remember seeing him at Twickenham and being impressed by his write-up in the match programme. Can't recall any memorable performances though - did he get injured?
-
It's not my thread, but this should not be about guys who were injured a lot, but guys who even when they made the field could really not be counted on finishing a game. Crotty being a prime case.
Brewer and Kahui, for example, didn't leave the field often. When properly fit they were good to last a game.
If it is just inability to play through injury/illness, then Jonah Lomu is in the running.

Eighth on the all time try scoring list means he did OK. Certainly curtailed his potential, but he had a stellar career anyway, particularly in world cups.
