Lol the guy running the scoreboard can’t count. Should be 32-14
-
I’ll be annoyed if we don’t win with a bonus point tonight.
-
Lakai in and that’s the game.
-
Lol Donaldson is horrible. How is he a Wallaby?
-
Lol Moorby gets super cramp.
-
I can’t remember a more clinical start to the year for the Canes. Outstanding performance, especially in that heat. Well played and congrats to Laidlaw on his first win.

They haven’t said it’s a red yet. Wtf?
Just absurd. The process is a lottery and makes a mockery of the entire premise.

@Canes4life Like you mate, I sitting here fairly content after that. Not saying the Canes will win comp or anything, but a pretty young team have started well, and I looking over next few years, it looks good. I thought Cameron went well at 10, and Vijoen seemed to show he may just be not bad as he comes on. Good bloody interview with Kirfi, good to see some good intelligent discussion.

@Dan54 it is a young squad but most of those players have now been in the squad for 4 or so seasons. Like Shields said at the pre tournament launch he expects this side to push for the title even with Ardie and Coles no longer in the locker room. Obviously don’t want to get ahead of ourselves but what they showed last night at set piece and general D/attack, the signs to me are really good.
The players that stood out for me last night were Kirifi, Lakai, Delany, our whole front row and our back three. Vijoen and Cameron were also solid. We don’t even need TJ back, in fact his passing game might actually be a hindrance to this side. 😜
Hopefully Kirifi’s ankle is okay but it looks like Flanders might be out for a wee while with a bung shoulder. Thankfully we have plenty of depth in the loosies with the impressive Howden and obviously our captain to come back.

Vijoen
His passing (except for 1) was excellent again. but his kicking wasn't great. But this needs only a small adjustment, Kicking could be a strength too as his issues this week were marginal
He's certainly an exciting prospect. I'd like to see a lot more of him this year. Maybe unlikely but he's good enough to be a regular starter

I forgot about Cameron and how well he played last year. Must be in the AB frame. He is a traditional pivot who controls the game well. Just what the Canes need to compliment all the flash Harrys.
