Reffing is good - clear and concise and the TMO isn't getting in the way and/or wasting time. Pity this isn't a RWC game...
Apart from watching the Scotland ruck get walked over and Russell sliding along the ground pushing the ball back the whole time. Yeah ref that's called tackled player not releasing...
Oh, how I yearn for the days when the TMO could stop play and correct this sort of mistake by referees....

The Scots fans will be feeling absolutely filthy about that one at the end. Common sense suggests that was a try and if they was any benefit of the doubt given to the attacking team then that's a try.
Not convinced there was pressure on it once it bobbled to the ground. Regardless, Scotland needed to do better and their captain showing no interest other than pigging it up from the back of the breakdown didn't help.
Great defence by France.

Rugby is dying a slow and painful death. Apart from the diehards. No one will be watching in 5 years.

I don't think Finn Russell's a captain's arse, but fuck me his kicking game is on another level.
Superb vision, if he had a tad more physical ability he'd probably be the best player in the world and a bit less of a knob jockey.
He’s basically Carlos Spencer without the rig

I thought it was a try but also thought it couldn’t be given due to the ref’s wording. “Onfield decision no try, can you see conclusive evidence to say try scored” (paraphrased).
Try? More than likely.
Conclusive? No.If the wording had been different it would likely have been awarded.

Rugby is it's own worst enemy at times. The slow mo kick fest is annoying and the ref and tmo call at the end seemed wrong. Ultra dumb by Scotland in charging one off in that end of match situation though. Always the danger of held up or inconclusive.
I dunno, a kicking duel (as opposed to aimless kicking and interminable box kicking) can be as interesting and good to watch as a scrum battle.
I actually enjoyed the game and some of the skills on display - particularly Fikou & Russell were outstanding.

How is this not conclusive around the 3min mark?
Edit - they both agreed that it was grounded before old mate decided he should try harder to rule it out. Really poor stuff
What more are we looking for??
