@Machpants not what you want in the last ten minutes of a WCF mate. When he comes on we need someone to make the hard yards up the park.

You more need someone who can nail the lineouts, that's coles

@chimoaus do we ever have passion in our anthems?

We do before World Cup finals:

I guess we'll see what Fozzy's preference is later in the week, they both bring different things. Coles is a massive penalty magnet as well and has a reputation for niggle. We've done well so far eliminating most of that.

@LagerLout reading that post I thought I'd time travelled back to last decade. Got any stats on Coles' penalties in tests in recent years that shows the issue?

No, have you? However I do have eyes. The guy is constantly operating on the edge, if you can't see that, I can't help you. I like Coles but he is ten years outside his best and operating in the last decade when it comes to understanding the current set of referees.

@LagerLout my bad, didn't know standing on the edge was a penalty.

Hmm, I dunno man - I feel like he’s found the balance lately. Good mix of playing with an edge but not doing the real dickhead stuff.

But I’m still torn between him and Sami given we have just the one game left

I really like the consistency and calmness of the front row when Lomax plays. And De Groot. While they keep winning I leave it to the coaches as to hooker. So lucky we have 3 v good v different styles of hooker.

Big shout out to the 4 young props. They have handled the last couple of weeks with aplomb. All 4 have played their part. Our scrum has been a different animal, hungry, mean, and balanced too. EDG and Lomax keep building their stocks and will only get better.

Williams is a fucking beast. His first scrum he just ate that tighthead

Bet you got an A in English School C

    Well done NZ

Did what we couldn’t do - gift Argentina point scoring opportunities

    Stadium is wonderful
Getting in and out was a joke
Cardiff really is the greatest rugby stadium in the world
    We’re spoiled

NZ were very good against a poor Argentina team

    Atmosphere was very flat

Hopefully tonight will be better in terms of competition and atmosphere

Jordan’s final try was a joy to behold

Williams is developing nicely. I can understand why he has leapfrogged OfaT.

Sky continues to embarrass themselves. How pathetic.

Yep let’s not miss a chance to have a lame dig at Australia.

You’d hope as a country we’d grown out of this embarrassing, completely unfunny shit.

This kind of "bants" also only works if you're winding up someone who's actually strong - this is like picking on the retarded kid at school and make us look like bullies.

"This wasn't how it was supposed to beeee" they wailed

"It was our time!" They cried

    "Deseeeeerved" they sobbed

Delicious salty tears making the inevitable NZ v SA final even sweeter. Salted caramel if you will.

Lots oh wailing about the RWC "not being fit for purpose" because the beat team over the past 2 years got knocked out in the QF - "the Nations League can't come soon enough" they say. Cry me a river, you fucks - no one gave a shit in 2007 or 2011 when it was big SH teams getting bundled out at the QF stage.
