RWC SF: England v Springboks

@Rancid-Schnitzel why can't he take the bottles on the pitch? Is it just the lights are quicker?

I know no one gives a fufu but the two questions remain.
- What happened to the ABs over the last 4 years
As in their form leading up to this comp?

Lots of things. On the slide since 2017 but I think the key has been the players' confidence and loyalty to the coaching staff, new forwards coach in Ryan and Joe Schmidt agreeing to get more involved. Sam Cane & snr players deserve huge credit too.

And I reckon Foz’s perseverance in sticking with the core team and supporting their learning from the mistakes/poor performance /discipline has been another factor.

Never been so excited to wake up at 5:45am for a game that the ABs aren’t playing in. Looking forward to some quality rugby without any stress.
If you could promise me that the ABs win the final, then I’d choose to have defeated the Boks - but I think I’d much prefer to meet England so will be cheering them on.
Hoping as always for no cards or controversy, but I’d love to see a massive physical battle and some very weary blokes at the end.

He’s done the water carrier bit, he’s done the support staff in the backfield directing play, his done the videos, he’s done the HIA rest periods. Some of it is tactical and some of it mind games imo.
Either way, he’s bad for rugby.
-
@Catogrande didn’t world rugby change the laws to stop coaches from being the water carriers?
Now he uses his micced up medical team and physios to loiter around play shouting out tactical instructions that the coaches observe from on high. NFL meets rugby. No wonder the Boks want to slow the game down. They want their 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th downs 😬
You have to hand it to Rassie and Nienaber, they totally think outside the box. They push the boundaries constantly. Constantly seeking the edge to give their team maximum advantage. The fact that people are questioning the way the HIA process and whether the Boks abuse it is testament to them both. Neither of them care about their legacy. That is what other people write. They care about winning, as that is what is ultimately remembered. For good or for bad.
-
Picking this one to go close. Think the Boks may be a bit complacent against an unrated England team who show signs of coming good,
-
Probably only a matter of time before he uses carrier pigeons.

Geez even we were doing that a decade ago in like level 6 club rugby. Even put up scaffolding for the camera to record games which the coach would stand on.

Too high tech. Have you seen that bloody light?

@Rancid-Schnitzel I’m ahead of my time obviously 😂
