Well done England. Did enough, that's all you need.

Earl was brilliant. A 15 minute heart attack at the end but did enough. Will be tough to recover in 6 days to play an even more physical game next week.

    Still in it. Still alive

Ref will be Reynal or Peyper most likely. If so you're well in it against a side that will have just played their final.

England forwards are very, very good. They are going to be a hard team for anyone to beat in this tournament.

Fiji almost beat them, they might scrape through next week but no chance in the final.

Peyper has to get over his calf injury., perhaps BOK?

    Holy fucking shit.

Comms pull the old "south sea islanders".

    Now they get it

I didn’t know that was an insult.

If France win tonight, the second Semi Final will be England Vs France on the 218th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.

Far out after barely scraping past Samoa and Fiji, England are now expected to go all the way?

Really? I still remember my ex's families embarrassment when her geriatric grandfather called me a colonial. I had a laugh but many probably wouldn't. Same thing. Jingoistic slang from the early to mid 1900's.

And a group of England fans dressed as 19th century naval officers got chucked out of the stadium for fighting.

Colonial clearly an insult, didn’t know that South Sea Islander was. Not sure I’ve ever used it but wouldn’t sweat to that, certainly won’t now

Imagine my surprise upon relocating to England when as a kiwi we shorten everything and I was innocently referring to Pakistanis as Pakis.

I'd expect a commentator to know that. Why the fuck would you call them south sea islanders instead of Pacific islanders anyway?

I used to play rugby against an Aussie team called London Colonials.
