Jesus, there are a thousand ways to beat this team. Some carry on like they are invincible and we're scrubs like Scotland.
Fuck me get some pride!! We're gonna do them by 12-15
If only one of their previous 17 opponents had used one of those thousand.
But I agree we can win this but not if we play like we have recently against France and SA where we revert to chip kicks, poor exits and poor discipline. Basically we have to be out our very best for 80 minutes.

Mods, get the ban hammer out. Week off for the above naysayers

I had a slight glimmer of hope until I read this little gem of master coaching:
“We also learnt you want to have 15 players on the park"
Oh, crap, that is incisive.

Personally I think this is Foster’s final and he will be largely be remembered on the result of this game. If he wins I don’t think it matters whether we win the WRC, a large part of the community will forgive him if we beat the current world number one team. Fail and the fucker will face a tsunami of shit.
Ireland have power and strength across the park, however genuine speed and skill can still beat them. We certainly have a team that can beat them but we just can’t be sucked into throwing it around from anywhere.
Territory and accurately aggressive forward play will put us in the best position to exploit this. Make errors in our own half and we’re likely going to be fucked.
Thanks to previous results and the myriad of learnings surely the players realise this too, the last time the players fed off the hate, they pulled off a big win in SA to save Foster, time to unbottle some of the feelings from the last loss and create the upset

The fucking carry on after every little thing that goes their way
You mean doesn’t go their way right? Curiously does Hawkes Bay have a large Irish heritage?

Nah I'm talking the fist pumps and crowd gestures for knock ons and bullshit
Calm down champ
And it's their poached wingers and English coach who are the worst culprits

A real rugby fan is someone who knows all the nationalities of the Irish national team and coaching staff

When do the officials get named?
-
Friz, Paps, Ardie

I think that’s what they’ll pick. Finish the game with Cane subbing on for Papali’i & Barrett at 6

Reasons to like the Irish
Won a test series in NZ
Have won 17 games in a row beating all the top teams.
Took average Super Rugby players and made them great international players.
Built a team rather than relying on individual talent.
Innovative attack that walks the obstruction line but gets away with it.
Amazing discipline.
Excellent defence.
Excellent structure and plan.
A coach that knows what he is doing.None of this computes

Nah he's got nothing to lose.

I actually this has enormous merit. Bringing the super experienced Sam's on to finish when the whips are cracking.
But I think Cane will start, and I hope that means Paps comes on absolutely fizzing
We simply cannot let them continue to recycle phase after phase no matter who is selected
