    @Canes4life if cane isn’t 100% I’d rather have Blackadder

    Backline sorted.

    Forwards close - Cane will get 30 mins and likely start agains Ireland

    Locks settled.

    Reserve have some punch

    Great to se Roigard there

    Only thing for me is whether Sami is injured!🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    @voodoo The Samisoni conundrum.

    Has he fallen down the pecking order? I still feel he is most suited to the pick and go, up the guts style of forward play. But not necessarily the wide channel Fitzy like style that Taylor and Coles are more adept at.

    If that is true that he hasn't been selected because the hooker isn't going to be going up the Italian pack's guts, then I'm a tad concerned.

    It is going to be a "massive challenge" to beat the eleventh-ranked men's team in World Rugby.

    Thank you, Ian Foster, for all the improvements (not to mention ambition) you've brought to the All Blacks.

    Ardie just said that the Ireland V SA game was one of the first non ABs games he has watched.

    What a professional outfit we have here, one of our most senior players and stand in captain is not even bothered to see where the opposition is at. Sigh.

    @Bones Allowing for Jordan not training for a few days, @george33 was spot on with the starting XV.

    2022 Samisoni is not 2023 Samisoni.

    Has he had any big impact on any game this year like he did last year? Maybe he hasn't even played, I can't remember him in any tests.

    He has no points in TSF MOTM polls. He came 2nd last year overall.

    It's a step in the right direction, but I would have liked to have been more daring (i.e DMac for BB, Blackadder for DP, LF on the bench).

    Team looks fine and has my wholehearted support. I’m hoping the performance will be a big improvement from what we saw at Twickenham and Paris. Go Black!

    Its about the best we can put out, I'd have LF over ALB on the bench, but thats minor.
    Pleased to see both Roigard and Mckenzie both there.

    A much better team than it could have been with Roigard included.

    We can also see that the loose forward balance is compromised when these four are selected. Again, no real cover at no.8.

    I hope big Frizzle and big Jordie hit the ground running, outside of the props and Captain Cane, this is our top 23 - according to Foster, and what we will see versus Ireland. I want to see a coherent, accurate, disciplined smashing. C'mon boys!

    @KiwiMurph solid 23, I’d prefer Blackadder over Papali’i’ though.

    Papali’i must be counting his lucky stars. He completely lacks any impact at this level.

    Good to see Christie has been given the boot, and good to see McKenzie on the bench.

    @george33 you were way off the money once again.

    I am like you Canes, and think Papali'i is a bit fortunate, I understand bringing Cane off bench with only partial training load, but I also would pick Blackadder ahead of him!
    I would add I not even sure I would have him at 7 for Blues if I was naming their team.

    My only change would maybe Havili over ALB, just because he (I think) fits in with RMo more.

    @Canes4life I wouldn't be so sure - for some reason Foz loves Clarke

    And he also love a persistent liability in an out of form BB

    I'd say this b close to our quarter final 23
    Only De Groot for Williams and maybe Sami can squeeze in there over Coles barring injury of course
