Imo blackadder goes straight to the bench. 40 minutes for frizzell then bring on blackadder.

Seems he got nod as cover for Captain Sam.I’m concerned that the absence of Bok teams from Super Rugby has lulled selectors into thinking jack of all trades loosies can cut it against the big boys.

And has led some of our loosies to think they are a helluva lot better than they actually are.

I was thinking this yesterday after the game , effective forwards in super rugby v effective forwards in test match rugby, is the gap widening ?
Is it becoming a bit like effective batsman in limited overs cricket v test cricket ?

Perhaps we put too much emphasis on 6 at the lineout? Think of our two recent shit the bed moments in the world cup, playing Scooter at 6 vs England for his lineout ability. Play Vaai for his lineout ability. Both times it backfired, I think maybe the core roles of a 6 should trump the lineout first. That is moving bodies, making metres and just adding some mongrel.

Yes for our team and the way they play we do need a more active tackle demon.
Someone mentioned our loosies think they are better at test rugby than they are due to Super. I suspect the problem is more we don't use them as a trio very well.
