Succession - finale
Yeah - pretty good. Very well executed. The final few conversations/arguments about "who's it gonna be?" were slightly tiresome - but I guess it fed into the episode being a perfect little summary of the entire series... with a focus on the Family, rather than external factors.
Yeah. Nicely done, the more I think about it. -
Succession
Brilliant
Will go down as one of the best TV shows of all time

The Great
Satirical/ historical show about Catherine the Great. The writing and cast are excellent, no moreso than Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.

Which season are you on? I thought S1 was, um, great, but was disappointed with S2 to the point I'm weighing up whether to watch the recently released S3.

Barry.
Done and dusted, but what the fuck. Still the same great characters but just ramped up the bizarre throughout the last season to it's final implosion in the ultimate episode.
Was great fun the first couple of seasons at least.
Liked it to the bitter end

@antipodean we are a few eps into the 3rd.
Still enjoyable although more outrageous at times, expect the sometimes in "sometimes true story" gets less and less...

Transatlantic
Based in Vivian Fry's efforts to get Jews to the USA from France before the US entered the war.
Apart from the educational part that almost all French resistance fighters were black as were the Brit SOE operatives and all the people rescuing Jews were gay or rich liberal Democrats, it was all a bit shit.

Anyone watched Broad City?
8.4 IMDB and 5 series starting 2014 - how have I not heard of this?
I've been recommended this multiple times and I watched a few episodes of the first season but couldn't get into it. I really don't like the girl on the right of the pic (her character I guess, never seen her in anything else to know if it's just her), but Hannibal Buress is in it and he's quite funny.
I'll probably give it another try in the future though.

Nope
But will have a lookseeThanks

It didn't celebrate diversity that much.
It's a great story which has been a bit ruined by poor writing and acting - which they tried to cover up by being "educational".

Even with Madeline Sami in it? Surprising.

I don’t know the person that you are referring to, but I know exactly what you mean.
