Is Billy Harmon a bolter?
Can’t see how he fits without injury to Cane or Paps.
I get that he is performing at a high quality level but there’s only so many spots in the squad.im nothing if not a bias highlander fan and so as much as id love harmon to get the call up....you're right
*biased

P.S. it's been years since I've complained. Give me a break...
I'd hazard a guess you're going to double up if you find the Easter egg on another thread...

I'm just happy we have some bolters putting their hands up.
Hard to look past Heem as the form utility player right now, he wouldn't let anyone down.I wouldn't be surprised if they still have Ennor, Goodhue, ALB, Havili ahead of him, but any sane man would instantly throw him in if any of them are out and I'd say he should probably be first in line if Jordie gets injured too.

@Bones How would his distribution go under test match pressure? I love the guy, he's a very rare big ball carrier at 12, but that's something that would need to be examined quickly.
Not like there are a lot of other options though.
Seems really measured and makes excellent decisions - you don't see him throwing the big skip or a hail Mary, but there's no arguing good things happen for those around him.

Probably for the RC. Wonder if Levi Aumua will feature this year for the All Blacks.
If he is playing for the NPC, if he does he can. But he won't, foster is so conservative, there will be zero bolters IMO

Suspect Cam Roigard, Shaun Stevenson and (depending on when various props get back into action) Tamaiti Williams might crack the squad this year.
Not sure you'd count any of those guys as bolters, but I suppose it depends on whether your definition is a completely left-field pick out of nowhere (a la Isaia Toeava) or a guy who was nowhere near the squad at the beginning of the year but has been in too good form to leave out (which also probably doesn't apply, given they all featured for the ABs XV).

@sparky Williams may be a case of needs must...
Bower, Moody and Newell are all out with injuries at the moment but could all be back for the first Rugby Championship match.
Lomax and Laulala are the only fit specialist tightheads, and Tu'ungafasi can certainly play there but has mostly been used as a loosehead.
If the All Blacks need a new tighthead, you'd have to say that Williams likely has the inside running.
I actually think Roigard has the best chance of the three. Smith, Roigard and likely Weber would probably be the three best choices to take this year but Weber left the field early last week and could be out for a wee while. That leaves Christie, the currently injured Perenara and Fakatava.
