ok, real bolter time....sam gilbert, one of the leading point scorers, excellent goal kicker (hasn't missed since round 6 i think) good at 15 and comfortable in the centres and can cover 10 (especilly outside smith or fakatava) if needed....

    ducks for cover

@Duluth I admit, that's who I had in mind more than DH who is also emergency 10 cover. For a centre/wing Heem is significantly better than Ennor, and covers two additional spots.

Yeah. Heem over Ennor for me too if that was the choice.

    Is Billy Harmon a bolter?

Can’t see how he fits without injury to Cane or Paps.
I get that he is performing at a high quality level but there’s only so many spots in the squad.

im nothing if not a bias highlander fan and so as much as id love harmon to get the call up....you're right

    *biased

P.S. it's been years since I've complained. Give me a break...

    Not the worst take.

I like his kicking game and he is very strong, they will probably go with the present crop.

I'm just happy we have some bolters putting their hands up.
Hard to look past Heem as the form utility player right now, he wouldn't let anyone down.

I wouldn't be surprised if they still have Ennor, Goodhue, ALB, Havili ahead of him, but any sane man would instantly throw him in if any of them are out and I'd say he should probably be first in line if Jordie gets injured too.

Reckon he'd be an excellent "Kahui" even.

@Bones How would his distribution go under test match pressure? I love the guy, he's a very rare big ball carrier at 12, but that's something that would need to be examined quickly.

Not like there are a lot of other options though.

Seems really measured and makes excellent decisions - you don't see him throwing the big skip or a hail Mary, but there's no arguing good things happen for those around him.

@Tim sadly, I cant see them taking a punt on him.

Which is a shame, because he brings the kind of smarts and consistency you want with enough size and pace to make him an attacking threat in the mid-field too.

Plummer has got to be on the brink, especially if Havili is out.

Probably for the RC. Wonder if Levi Aumua will feature this year for the All Blacks.

If he is playing for the NPC, if he does he can. But he won't, foster is so conservative, there will be zero bolters IMO
