@antipodean Mmmm....strong scrum, good defense, good ball runner.... what do you want to see? Drop goals?

If it worked for Matt Dunning....

Think the midfield could provide a bolter. Apart from Levi Aumua, I'm wondering if Poihipi might be a call.

Possibly if there are injuries and a need to blood some backup in the RC but I can't see the room in a RWC squad. Jordie, Rieko, ALB and Havili are locked in I would say.

@Victor-Meldrew Excellent decision maker. DMac/Poihipi/Rona worked well together.

@ARHS Maybe a reference to Clayton McMillan (due to all the Chiefs players mentioned)?

Aha thanks Tim- could not figure. Don't think Poihipi and Rona are near that level at present. Still think at least 4 new AB's. Narawa and Stevenson flagged already, Roigard needs to be trialled, and Tamaiti Williams is much improved and deserves a chance.

In all likelihood it will probably be a fatty in the front row (Williams) , Roigard or Fakatava, and Stevenson or Narawa.

Its a pity we don't have a few more tests to give the likes of Levi Aumua and Roigard a go.

I haven't been watching Levi Aumua.
Anyone want to tell why he should be considered for the ABs.

@Frank Wait for him to get a season with the Crusaders and we may get a better idea, he would probably improve a lot under their coaching. From what people are saying he offers a real power game in the centres something we have been lacking since Nonu and Sonny. I would be a lot more excited about him at the Saders if Leicester was staying.

    Defenders beaten 1st in comp
Post Contact meters 1st in comp
    Linebreaks 1st in comp
    Tackles 2nd in comp

Video below at 22:28 mins where they reckon the Crusaders have tapped him up. So presumably NZ have given him assurances if he is putting pen to paper.

Apparently Eddie Jones sniffing around him too.

Good call on Zarn Sullivan, able to cover multiple positions. More than capable of filling an All Black spot this year.

It's exactly what we need and is basically our version of Aki, Tuilagi or Danty.

Did you see what Danty did to Leinster/Ringrose on Saturday. He brutalised them.

His try was pure power. There is no legislating for that.

That's why Caleb Clark is so useful yet so disappointing. He needs to be coming in off the 10 on strike moves like Julian Savea used to.

He should be causing the carnage and then offloading to the speedsters to finish once the lines are broken.

Unfortunately, Clark is supposed to be our finisher and he couldn't finish his dinner. He is great over 20 meters and no more.
