Well you know if anyone gets bored and needs a laugh, just go back over the comments and read some of them, BCs can't win, they useless get rid of most of them, and then see the end!!
That is no way a dig at anyone, just it's a good read, we all are experts (and I mean ALL) until we are not.
C'mon a great day for test cricket and cricket in the country, we all get a chance to believe again!!! That is just amazing, and one last question how bloody boring is test cricket???

I’m fairly positive I’ve only had a go at Bracewell.

But yeah, test cricket is the best by far

That was a pretty cool test. I thought we were done for when Southee left his return so late. Still reckon that decision was crazy.
I think this team could do a lot better with an attitude that is 50% more attacking. We don’t have the crew to go full bazball. But this made me h..h..h..h..happy.

Black caps have brought me so much pleasure with unexpected victories. WTC won't be topped, but this is a close second I reckon.

Even better as we were well behind compared to Tauranga. This was back from the dead, ridiculous victory

Credit to the Fern for some world class jinxes as well. Fantastic effort all round.

Bro, thank you for your service. Reading through the thread you dropped some powerful jinxs! Even if you seemed to lose the faith with 7 runs to go 😉

I was at the Featherston of all the bars in Wellington! and the barmy army had representation, funny that. Good natured about our win and what an ending!

From the Caps Facebook page, nice to see the smiles the other way around for a change. That's about as emotional as Kane gets!

    100%

Cricket threads (and a few others) are literally upside down land. Quality jinxs and Eeyore-type posts are ferning of the highest order... or is that lowest?

Cricinfo already broke out the by the barest of margins line, it's fairly rare. Second time in Tests (Oz v Windies 30 years ago), and second time in NZ First class cricket.

    Australia have company:

I remember that game in Oz, watching cricket in the summer holidays was outstanding when Ambrose, Lara, Walsh and Richardson’s knocked over the Waugh’s, Warnieand Border ( plus a bunch of other players on both teams ) Awesome test match.

The follow on stat is just incredible. Well done BCs

Just saw a Tweet from Michael Appleton with the stats already covered, and also:

-The narrowest win after following on - the other three being by 10, 18 and 171 runs.

Wow, that was special. One of the guys at work, (a BOP rep), pulled up Spark Sport on his spare screen and most of the office watched the last 3 overs. A bit of karma after our tough luck against England and India. Great fightback team. I am so proud of you, after watching you up against it at Bay Oval.

It's an actual margin in this case though. Not zero runs.

Stick that ball up your Baz. More boundaries counts for fuck all in tests.

Fitting the barest of margins result this time happened on Smithy's 66th Birthday.

I always said the game was even Stevens.

Good win but we let it get a bit close in the end.
