I love the way England are playing test cricket,Big credit to them for making this test a classic.
Gutsy effort from the BC great to see after the First Test,So pleasing to see the fight in this test match that was lacking in the first test.
How can you not love Test Cricket.

80/5 took Bazball out of play, but they very nearly got there.

Threw every possible combination of watching/not watching, Cricinfo/Not Cricinfo, posting/not posting coffee, change of chairs at that one whenever wickets stopped falling. Not that any of it matters but still. A great day of Test cricket

    What an amazing match.

    All time Black Cap win.

What an amazing turnaround from halfway through the test - let alone from test 1.

Absolutely its exciting to watch and have always been a fan of an attacking mindset, even happier to win one against them.

4th win after following on, second by a run.

Who's your man of the match? Kane for holding together the second innings? Southee for some key wickets and first innings hit out? Wagner for dragging us across the line? Brook or Root for their batting?

It’s like it was a completely different set of players from the non-Tom Blundell ones who didn’t front at Bay Oval. Or even from the first innings at the Basin! 😊

Will be interesting to see if it hardens views against the follow on once more, but I think England had little choice given potential bad weather this summer and Bazball.

You'd have to go Root. 2 x tons.

Root scored more runs, albeit in a losing effort. I'm sure Root is happy to pass on that award

I think it's got to be Williamson. Critical runs, huge partnerships - really made a difference.

Never seen so many edges fall safely, it's been amazing.

I think I heard on the radio KW got it.

    Root deserved it though.

Gotta feel for Jimmy Anderson. Must be so painful to be the last man out in a one run loss.
