@Mr-Fish Ioane to the bench, I can't see them starting him at wing.
I suspect that's where he's going to be in the first-choice line-up come World Cup time - might as well trial the axis of the backline against Scotland.
I'd be extremely surprised if he isn't starting at 13 against England, so they'll probably look to rest him rather than give him another start.

Congratulations @Frank on the nuffiest thread in Fern history
Wrong opposition. Wrong players.
It's absolute peak nuffie. Top ferning
Wtf does Nuffie mean?
You have more upvotes than I get in a year, so I suspect I’m on my own here in the dark
In Aus it's a term used for the stupidest of sports fans
The real fucking love their team but have fucking no clue fans. Often obsessed.
It also used in Australia to call someone who hasn’t achieved anything in playing or coaching, but have a massive opinion on that sport.
It’s used by rep players and coaches about wannabes.
Nuffie they have achieved nothing in the sport but tell everyone how to achieve higher. -

He's only played one game on this tour, I don't think he needs a rest just yet.

Agree but if he's not starting at centre, I highly doubt he'll start on the wing.
Happy to be Mr Omelette again though.

No reason why JB and RI couldn't play all 3 games. Unless Fozz wants others to get game time as well

@canefan for players like them it becomes more mental fatigue with the intensity levels rather than the physical side of it, in my opinion of course.
Yup.

I expect them to rotate for Scotland. It's an opportunity to give squad players a chance to get more test experience in case they're called upon next year. But I understand the sentiment around Perofeta, Ennor et al. I can't say I really want to watch them play much either, but then that's probably an issue with original squad selections. In hindsight (or not) I doubt anyone thinks Perofeta has a higher ceiling than Zarn Sullivan for example.
Then there is also England. A 6 day turnaround isn't ideal. So giving a few key players a lighter workload this weekend is a good idea if the coaches want the best possible performance out of the team at Twickenham. And the last time they played each other was the World Cup, where the ABs got flogged. I'm keen for a statement performance.

I'd pick
- De Grott 2.Taylor 3. Ofa T 4. Vaii 5. Whitelock 6. A.Ioane 7 Papali'i 8. Sotutu 9. Weber 10. Mounga 11. C.Clarke 12. J. Barrett 13. ALB. 14. Reece 15. BB
Bench Aumua, Bower, Laulala, S. Barrett, Frizzell, TJP, Havaii, Telea.
Sami T, Lomax,Ardie Savea, Aaron Smith and Reiko Ioane get the week off so they're good to go against England

Doesn't make much sense to me to rest Taukieaho last week and then drop him all together this week.

Weber not available - rotated to ABXV.
Can't pick too many other holes. But could say that for any number of combos.

Re Aumua. I am to think he's had issues with throwing. Is that correct? Otherwise I'm happy for him to come on in the impact role that ST occupied last week.
-
But do you want to beat England on the back of a loss to Scotland?
-
@MiketheSnow you said that wont happen after the Scotland v Fiji game....

Aumua was excellent in the npc final. And mostly good throughout the npc. One off game was the Auckland semi

If Townsend swallows his pride and selects Russell who knows what could happen
