All Blacks MOTM v Wales

Dalton - my MOTM. Tackled hard, hit the rucks with a bit of force and had the odd run too.
Savea - high energy and workrate and the team really get in behind him when he had those runs.
Taylor - sure he scored a couple of tries, but I thought his tackling was excellent. Must’ve been close to top tackler or just behind Dalton who was a demon.
HM: Smith, Jordie and Mo’unga
I couldn’t go for Smith in my top 3, even though he was good, because three plays of his really irked me - that chip kick when we had turned the ball over. We had good field position and a number of Welsh players were caught in that ruck. That really low pass put us under quite a bit of pressure. He didn’t have to go for the long cut out ball when he had a carrier that was closer than Frizell. And a ruck where the ball was there to be cleared and he stood there and two Welsh players drove over (one on his knees mind you) and we lost the ball as a result. They scored shortly after. -
Hands down Ardie, and then Dalton and Jordie for me.

Whitelock outstanding as well. Heading for Sir imo
Has to stay captain No other option -

Has to stay captain No other optionInjuries put in our better front row, our better 12, will it see foster be ruthless enough to drop his pet cane for a better open side and captain? Hope so

Ardie is getting up there with DC, Goat, and nonu as greatest in the modern age. He's coming into another players best award, so three? In a row (edit nope cane got it 2020, Ardie 2019)

Ardie was absolutely ridiculous today. How he remains standing at the end of a game is a mystery to me.

Lol at anyone picking a number higher than 9
A Savea easiest (though get out of halfback sometimes)
A Smith was excellent organising a forward game.
D Papalii put in a massive massive shift and was why we had phase after phase of quick ball. -

Ardie, Smith and Whitelock for me. Quite astonished that at the time of voting I am the only Whitelock voter tbh.
At least 2, probably 3 dumb penalties

Two penalties. One was really dumb, but I thought the other was a Barnes special and very unlucky.

The more work you do the more likely a penalty as well.
I wouldn’t give away a single penalty at this level as I would be hiding on the bus. -
I'm on the Savea, Papali'i and Smith train as well.
I see Scooter got his regular Fern votes - TBH i thought he put in a decent shift. Also much improved performance by Taylor. (Mentioned those two together for their combined try scoring effort twice - Taylor with the ball and Scooter pushing him over).
Frizell didn't live up to my hope of him having an awesome game but luckily the other two loosies meant he didn't have to.

Sav, Pap, Smith

Huge workrate by Savea and Dalton. Aaron back to the type of game we know he can have when he's at his best.
Honourable mention to the tight five who put in an excellent shift.
Backs apart from Jordie were hit and miss with their often limited opportunities. Worst by a long shot was Caleb - when you get almost nothing in that type of game, you can't afford to not catch balls.
