Ireland has done us a favour.
Test rugby has always been about the team that makes the less mistakes wins. As a person who experienced test rugby in the 70s (can't remember much to be honest), the 80s, 90s up to now, the rugby that the ABs play now doesn't feel like test rugby. There is a lack of territorial awareness which means a lack of pragmatic kicking, they invite chaos near their line which more often than not has negative results, etc, etc.
It is hard to explain but in the Foster era, they give it up too easily. We have no desire to play the territory game
Because our 10 has a shit territory game.
Imagine if we had a 15 with a giant kicking game, could be handy.

I really like the triple threat from our 12 though, at least they got that right.
Triple digits for errors

I don't rule out the possibility NZR might ask Foster to go. That was a pretty shambolic performance. A repeat next week and/or in the RC and Robertson might sweep in.
I would almost prefer Robertson gets a fresh start post WC but no doubt he would do a better job then #FatFoz

Schmidt
Can we entice Cotter or Joseph back?

Scott Barrett best in black for mine, and probably the best thing for the ABs out of the last two tests

Cheika took over the Wallabies end of year tour 2014 and made the 2015 RWC final

Sowakula doesn't have the skill level for test rugby. A really dumb selection. Sotutu is a much better player.
Like what the hell is Sotutu doing sitting in the stands? It's more than just a dumb selection, it's absolute utter arrogant incompetence.
I don't think they see Sotutu as anything other than a no.8. Not that I rate PGS as I wouldn't have had him in my AB squad. Hopefully Ioane is available for Welly so there are other options.

What has Foster achieved? What players has he developed? What innovations has he introduced? He has done nothing but made excuses and wrecked the careers of several players.
I don’t buy the ‘we lack the cattle’ line. The NZ-born players in the Irish team were mostly journeymen before they migrated. Coaching and strategy and leadership make the difference.
NZ has none of that. In the meantime, Foster, with the support of an incompetent leadership at NZ rugby are trashing one of the world’s leading sports brands.
Travesty.
