Richie woulda kicked that
He has pretty average tonight too.
Richie was pretty good when he came on. Trouble is we were playing catch-up rugby with 14 men. He wasn’t dropping his passes and getting the ball thrown behind him.

The Irish defence is rather good
Or is our attack really bad?
Considering BB try was a fluke then yes.
Take away his flukey stuff and you take away his game.
Then again I don't remember him gifted an intercept before and not being able to run at least 20 metres with it.When it's a penalty advantage to the opposition? Sounds like a massive waste of energy

Cane is used to losing speeches
Taine Randell anyone?
Give Cane time....
We have no time !! just not AB captain material IMHO !!

Then I'd expect better ones. The interview in particular lacked any modicum of insight.

Ireland should have scored a lot more points given how they dominated us.
We need to learn how to exit properly, have an accurate kicking game, reduce errors. Pretty much a completely different gameplan to whatever you call the shit we put out tonight.

Ireland would have to be the least likeable international team. What a bunch of whining plums.
As for the game, we are right in this. Ireland don't seem to be able to score and will be deflated by the last 15 minutes.
Oh I don't know about that.

Ireland should have. But didn't. Same as last week.
Next week should be interesting. In fact, the midweek game should be interesting. -
Ireland has done us a favour.
Test rugby has always been about the team that makes the less mistakes wins. As a person who experienced test rugby in the 70s (can't remember much to be honest), the 80s, 90s up to now, the rugby that the ABs play now doesn't feel like test rugby. There is a lack of territorial awareness which means a lack of pragmatic kicking, they invite chaos near their line which more often than not has negative results, etc, etc.
It is hard to explain but in the Foster era, they give it up too easily. -

This is on the coaching team. They need to go. If we lose the series surely Foster can't stay on

You've got my permission to gloat.
Plus you must love the fan angst here that ABs are too old, when Sexton is about to be 37... -

I just don’t get the box kick for us. We don’t chase well. They shielded well. Just handing the ball back close to the middle of the park.

Congrats mate. Showed far more composure tonight than the ABs. Set the tone in the first 10 minutes and then when the poker game started, the Irish may not have scored but they kept their wits.
