with Lord unfortunately gone for the season, Tom Robinson might eventually earn his way into ABs camp maybe🤔
Seems strange not to replace Lord
Fozzie ruling Quinten out specifically?

Amusing how the social media post says no replacement to be named, yet I expect Tom and a few others now have hundreds of notifications of people tagging them as options...

Bummer - One of the players we REALLY needed to develop.
Possible replacements
Tom Robinson - but seems too light.
Josh Goodhue.
Josh Dickson

This rules Josh out for the rest of the All Blacks 2022 season. At this stage the All Blacks will not be bringing in a replacement lock.
What you think you know about locks irrelevant

Perhaps if Tom tears it up in the grand final, then he might be named? Nah, probably not.
Tom's too little to be an AB lock.
To be honest, Eklund looks pretty small to be a contender at hooker as well - though he has played well this season. I would have been pretty surprised to see him there, so Tana and Richard not convincing me.
And if de Groot has failed to meet his fitness targets, which seems to have been widely publicised, then I'm pleased to see Fozzie taking a leaf out of Dame Noeline's book and giving him a boot up the arse.

Would it be possible and how long would it take for someone like Tom Robinson to put on 5kg?
Is it possible?
Certainly has the workrate, right attitude and lineout prowess. -

Seems strange not to replace Lord, even with a lock. Surely it's worth looking at someone?
Adding Robinson would at least put pressure on Vaai to perform as the lock/blindside and give an option to replace him if he gets injured.
There’s quite a bit in the Players agreement around being named in the first squad of the season. If they really needed someone else they would call them in but it does complicate things slightly
Would they still have to pay Lord if he was already injured when they selected him?
More genius selection lol

Certainly has the workrate, right attitude and lineout prowess. Why not just pick him at 6?
I would've.
Guys with his height and mobility don't grow on trees - whereas at lock he's always going to be stretching in terms of height and weight.

You realise he is taller than Scott Barrett?

@number9 It's only three tests. Do they really need more than 4 locks? After all, they may still include a replacement in the RC squad.
For the Ireland Series, maybe they'll use one or more of the Māori ABs locks as injury cover/back-up. Both squads have crossed-over in the past.

@Stargazer issue is that they won't be replacing Lord. They do not say that they will use the Maoris. This just shows how much of a moron Foster is. Bring Robinson into the environment or even Goodhue.
They may have forgotten they must report every movement and thought to you? You should write him a letter to remind him and tell him how utterly disgusted you are! It's just not on is it? Morans!

@Crucial now definitely $1m and Foster is definitely a moron. You Chiefs supporters need to stop drinking the Foster-Aid
Lol fuck yeah!! You Chiefs dickheads need to check yourselves. With your foster loving.
