@Kid-Chocolate Clinton is probably the most intelligent by far, if anyone should lead that country it should be her.
“By far,” hmm?
I guess that’s why she spent too much time fundraising with celebrities on Nantucket Island and telling hubby to bugger-off when he repeatedly told her she needed to instead be stumping in Wisconsin, snorted “I got this” “in the bag” and never visited the state once. A real political genius.
I find these posts quite funny because for every post like this there are a million about Trump or whoever is opposite. I'm sure Trump did plenty of fundraising events etc. There always seems to be a shit throwing/smear campaign when it comes to comparing candidates. We rarely get to hear them talk in long form about policy, their vision etc.
I only base my opinion on Clinton after listening to her on long form podcasts interview shows like Stern etc. She comes across very switched on and very capable. I can't say the same for many others.
How do you judge or evaluate politicians? How do you choose or think which one would be best to lead a country?

If you want neoconservatives operating your foreign policy and diplomacy through more and more wars that the country can’t afford while infrastructure crumbles and the debt spirals out of control, she’s the right leader for you.

I gotta admit I'm too dumb to understand your comment, seems you know the future which is hard to argue with.

That is amusing. The only fact quoted was buried at the back behind all the lurid pics and suggestions. “Macc, who is legally blind, cannot confirm that it was Biden that brought the laptop in to him”. 😂

And Hunter refuses to deny it’s his laptop. In terms of “pure intellectual capacity,” it’s curious and something you’d think he might remember, no?

Ach! Nowhere am I saying that it’s not Hunter’s laptop or that he’s whiter than white, just that the article you posted was completely flawed. You then follow this up with an irrelevant video. I’m quite prepared to believe that Joe is a decrepit old fool and that Hunter is a stupid entitled fuckwit, but if you want to make a point, use some more factual material that can’t be picked apart like a ten cent padlock.

The Pennsylvania Republican Senate primary tomorrow is a doozy.
Trump endorsed Dr. Oz.
But MAGA world hates his guts, and is throwing their support behind an insurgent black woman who marched on the Capitol on Jan 6th.
Establishment is trying to destroy Kathy Barnette (the black woman patriot), but that’s only galvanizing her support.
They’re neck and neck.
Heads exploding everywhere.
Adding: I fully expect every GOP candidate to be confronted at town halls this summer and fall about 2000 Mules. The more the media ignores it, the more the evangelicals refuse to stop talking about it.

2000 Mules is a 2022 American political film by Dinesh D'Souza that falsely alleges Democrat-aligned individuals, or "mules," were paid by unnamed nonprofit organizations to illegally collect and deposit...
Not commenting but is there proof one way or another? (Happy if there is, just don't like editorial comment in what should be a summary of facts .... so I'm idealistic ... )

It’s equally true — and has been for months — that Maga-world really likes Trump, but they’re not cultists, they disagree with him and reject his endorsements regularly. Their idol is “America First,” as their idea and aspiration, not the personality selling it. Many of them support Trump by default, because he’s the only one stumping on the idea and resisting globalism and spotlighting American decline. That is, until DeSantis, and many of Trump’s supporters will go with Ron because he’s saying the same things, and their priority is how best to sell and administer the idea, and more importantly, win.

As yes, wikipedia, come for the facts, leave with opinions.
Yes, I’ve seen the film. I wanted to see it, because I don’t like to be that guy who voices hot-take opinions in public about things I’ve never seen. If I haven’t seen the test match, I’m not going to go online dogpiling and rubbishing it and expect to be taken seriously.
I’m not a fan of D’Souza and I went into the doc much like Dennis Prager — agnostic and skeptical. Certainly there was some dodgy shit in that campaign, but like Prager, I want to see hard physical evidence. I came out of it like Prager, too, believing there needs to be an investigation, if-only to prevent this crime from ever being repeated. Because once you see this, you may never again believe in the legitimacy of an American election. That’s how brutal this film is.
Basically, the premise is this:
Investigators reviewed video camera surveillance footage on ballot drop boxes in four critical states.
“Voters” are seen stuffing the boxes with fistfuls of ballots.
Some of the drops are during daylight, but most repeat offenders are tracked and surveilled midnight to 4 am, in darkness when no-one’s around, with a curious paranoid habit of nervously looking over their shoulders for possible witnesses. Could just be unlikely coincidence, but…
These “voters” then take a photograph of each dropbox where they dropped the ballots, presumably as some sort of UPS courier receipt.
Investigators get the cell-phone pings / meta-data on those phones at those sites at those precise moments. (Guys, you’re all being tracked.)
Then they track those cell-phone(s) on patterned routes directly to multiple drop boxes across their cities and state, and doing it the same pattern for days and weeks, again like a regular courier route.
They do a search of phones doing these patterns, and synchronizing them with the available surveillance footage, and it numbers in the hundreds of individuals doing this in select cities.
You get one ballot, people. Anything else is a felony.
Now, is all the cell-phone tracking and videotape and meta-data authentic?
That’s the trillion-dollar question.
It could all be horseshit. For all I know, it could be a deliberate Fusion GPS-style hoax, another Steele Dossier, another yellowcake letter from Africa.
That’s what needs to be investigated.
And that’s what every Republican candidate will have to be prepared to face and answer at every town hall from now until November.

A question on the film and voting in the US in general. Assuming the footage of these people posting fistful of votes into the ballot box is verified, the first question for me would be "is this legal"? ie Is this a legitimate methodology for posting valid votes assembled elsewhere and then taken and tracked to the official polling station?
Genuine question, I have no idea if this is a thing in the US, though I know there is some licence for it in the UK for isolated areas.

From here which was the first source that didn't require me to pay for the story:
One of those dismissed allegations is featured in a documentary, “2000 Mules,” directed by conservative pundit Dinesh D’Souza set to be released May 20. The film falsely claims unnamed nonprofits linked to the Democratic Party paid people, whom it calls “mules,” to illegally collect and deposit absentee ballots in drop boxes in five swing states where Biden won–Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Ballot “harvesting” or collection, is when someone other than the voter delivers their absentee ballot to a dropbox. In Georgia, it’s only legal for family members or disabled voters’ caregivers to do this for them.
The movie features surveillance footage of a man in a white SUV depositing five absentee ballots into a Gwinnett County dropbox. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation determined in an investigation last fall that the man was legally delivering ballots cast by himself, his wife and children.
