    Loosies - would be Flanders {6}, Kirifi {7}, Seavea {8}
Midfielders - Umaga-Jensen at 13... 12 certainly isn't clear though, have to see who performs the best out of Proctor & Walden.
Back 3 - Barrett, Rayasi & Goosen are brilliant players, just hope our forwards can give them consistently decent platforms to attack from.

    Proctors isn't a 12. UJ could be

All midfielders should be able to play at 13 or 12... but agreed, UJ tends to suit 12 better as the position is closer to the rucks where a lot of the traffic is, giving him a better chance of getting past the advantage line consistently more than another midfielder that might not have the power he has.

Concerning the midfield, I am surprised that no one has mentioned Bailyn Sullivan. he was the form centre during the NPC. I'd like a combo with 12.PUJ and 13.Sullivan.
I also hope Higgins could get some time on the paddock as he is a very good prospect. He is a strongly built second five, and he could be useful in a position where options are not great.

A bit small for Super Rugby?

@cgrant agree on the Sullivan PUJ combo. I think Sangster will see plenty of time at lock too.

@cgrant agreed, Higgins has a massive future but like other Under 20 players in Love and Godfrey, they just need time to develop.

I think Higgins will learn alot from Walden this year, he's bigger than Walden but they both have a very similar style of how they go about things. Higgins just needs to be a sponge this year, I don't think he will get many minutes, if any.

Good to see some new names in that squad even if just as cover.

No @Nepia having people past their prime at the Canes is a given

@stargazer Jamie Booth returning is vital, and Richard Judd on the bench means that it isn't the end of the world.

TJ has been crap the past few seasons so I'm not too concerned to be honest. Hopefully Booth finds his form of a few years ago.

That's bollox. He may well have been poor for the ABs but he has been instrumental for canes. They have had a shit and/or total baby 10, and TJ has taken a lot of the load. Canes have been poor for a few years, but without TJ and Jordie they would've been a fuck load worse

Yeah I reckon the Crusaders will be happy as TJ is not there. he seems to fire them up, Harder team to play with him thereI think.
Shit for the ABs though last year.

Totally he carried the canes, and wanted to do the same for the ABs, I guess. But the ABs don't need carrying, they need competence and focus

No way! In his 30s until May October. Plenty of time to keep that ah purple patch!

You guys do realise he didn’t even play for the Canes last year. Ardie and Jordie have been the two influential players for the Canes, particularly last year. Perenara has been a big game player in years gone by but I feel he’s past his prime and I don’t think we will miss him as much as we would of a few years ago.
