@bovidae unbelievable the ginger wasn't released... Especially considering how poor TJP was... Passing accuracy was woeful

Well done Ireland, just too good. Same AB problems of last few years back in.

    1. Being outmuscled
    2. Pressure causing errors
    3. No real game plan vs this type of plan/team.

Watching it we just don’t have that ‘swagger’ anymore and I just wonder if we had a period of such good quality players in past and now we just dont. Who do we call upon to provide the ‘big plays’ when needed??? When pressure came on we just look like little boys that’s when mistakes and panic seem to set in. Only savea and Barrett’s look like pure game breakers out there. Not sure where we turn next but plenty to ponder.

Live updates of the All Blacks' clash against Ireland at Ireland at Aviva Stadium.

on front nzh page it say valiant Irish. Valiant is wrong word, more like ferocious.

We need Robertson ASAP. I feel like a Man U fan waiting for the announcement that they have finally hired a real manager instead of a substitute PE teacher.

But what happens if Robertson is brought in and nothing much changes? Do we change coaches as often as we change mid-field options?

Somewhere, something has gone badly off the rails and I'm not convinced it's all Foster's fault and swapping him an easy answer.

@nostrildamus Blackadder should have been subbed.

Blackadder was subbed and shouldn't have been. They should have taken Ardie off instead, although Akira didn't offer much in the time he was on the field.

I’m going to file that under own goal.

Forwards were OK for me, but starting loosies’ lack of combined hitting power showed. Akira should have started.

We lost this in backs. In summary, much too cute. Ireland’s stifle defence was very good and ref interpretations were not favouring our natural game. With Jordie’s huge boot we should have prioritised playing in their half rather than clever up and unders in our half.

Richie underwhelmed, but between TJP and Havili perhaps harsh to pin on too much blame.

Rieko is too error prone to be 13 in a tight game.

So seems that in last 30 our Backline was rendered impotent.

With hindsight, the Welsh last quarter flattered ALB/Rioane combo.

We’d have been better with Havili ALB starting and Reece coming off bench.

    And Christie on at 55.

Can only hope we get Backline back to basics in Paris. Nugget a good start.

@act-crusader fucking priceless 😂. I don't care if a Chiefs player has a shit game as I don't take it personally. Y'all Crusaders fans rush to protect your babies when they're criticized. Retallick had a shit game, as did ALB.

    Ireland were better no qualms
I'm disappointed cos we lost our head. If we had done the simple things right like pass, catch and no hail mary passes we would have been right in it till the end.
This tour maybe a bit long, players look jaded.

The real elephant in the room was why didn't the players recognise that and change tactics?

Reiko is not having a good game. Under pressure at 13.

    He's barely had the ball

And he’s been getting it at the same time as an Irish defender from a guy running side ways inside him

Players of a known quantity are underperforming, new players don't cut the mustard. That's on the coach.

Also, even if that doesn't solve everything, what other option is there?

Foster is the inbred grandson of a once great King. Only there because of what his ancestors did, and even his father wasn't all that great.

@yeetyaah I’m not losing any sleep over the loss - although it looks like you are as you said a couple of posts ago you were going to bed…

After all it’s just a game.

    Foster is shit shit shit,
Shit player and a shit coach right of the next WC we have no chance in a tight WC tournament under the Fister circus.

We've played 3 games this year against 'hard' opposition. By hard, I mean in your face physical teams. Wales could've been, but were badly effected by defections. So 3 games, 1 win. The same style will almost always best the ABs, in the late Hansen/foster era.

They talk the talk about physicality, but can't walk the walk. Foster has still not figured it out after 5 or so years, and he's not going to. I was hoping that we'd see a vintage performance, but Ireland obviously didn't listen to Foster's media interviews.

So another couple of years of being a flat track bully, but no cigar at the world cup. Bring on 2024.

@stargazer had to be something serious.

That’s the problem with Reiko and Havili. They need babysitters. They need experience inside or outside them. That’s on the coaches. If you haven’t made a player into a stand alone test weapon then they shouldn’t be on the field to begin with.
