Surely you mean increases?
I’m not whether he’s referring to mine or Mrs Cato’s. Academic really anyway.
I was however serious that there must be another underlying reason (why she bought it and resists returning it) but buggered if I know what it is ...
-
@nostrildamus the answer is obvious, us women are always right?? Mrs Cato owes no bugger an explanation

Correct. She just owes me £139

Poppycock! What's yours is hers.

Not quite. It seems like the £139 is hers and the useless toothbrush is mine.
-
@catogrande don't forget to floss!!
-
@Catogrande probably not worth the battle TBH. I would just write it off and store the situation up for the future when she tells you something you want is too expensive. "Says the woman that spent £139 on a toothbrush..."

@no-quarter Hmm - has that sort of comment ever worked? Ever?

Somebody please explain to me why a new computer monitor is sent with HDMI port and cables and new computers video cards come with only VGA or display port. Third time it has happened to me. Flat learning curve on my part but a computer and a display should be compatible FFS.

Rhetorical I assume.
We all know the answer.

It could be worse, your work could get you a monitor for your laptop that doesn't have an HDMI port and which necessitates buy three other pieces of equipment to use it (hub, two types of cables). I am unsure how this can be a cheaper option than just buying monitors with HDMI ports to go with our laptops that include an HDMI cable in the box.

@victor-meldrew bloody hell... Looks like Mr Snow has a new partner in crime...
Getting medieval on people who mess with your car isn't a crime - it's a civic duty.
Then I'd expect to see far more Honda hatchback owners patrolling the streets in dark hoods armed with little chrome shurikens.

@Snowy @Nepia just a thought, but maybe you guys could try shopping in this millennium? I had no idea it was even possible to buy anything new without hdmi or displayport.
Don’t include me, I’m talking about what my work supplies it’s staff. I thought the exact same thing as you too.

Too late. It’s gone back. I now await the inevitable fall out over the next 2-3 years.
-
@catogrande they shouldn't fall out as long as you just continue to brush them

2-3? Mrs Cato sounds awfully forgiving
