Waikato vs Wellington

Well played Waikato.
Will be interesting to see what the team looks like next week with half the squad now injured.

Its a concern now. 4 of our best props are likely out. Maybe our top three firsts. Based on the 2nd hald Wellington will struggle until they get players back

@winger so the injured props for Wellington now are Numia, Fidow, Cowan, Armstrong, Sheck.
I suppose when it rains it pours. That bloke that came on for Fidow looked like a presidents grade player.
Also no Love, Morgan or Garden-Bachop so we don’t have a game driver either.

You'd think this was a final with how badly Wellington are choking.
Hopefully we’ve got our choke out of the way then. 😜

I take exception to that comment Pressies grade is very tough I should know I play it.

Wellington are the biggest chokers in NZ rugby, we’ve got so used to it that it’s become the norm.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but after 8 failed finals appearances since 2000 I think us fans deserve a medal to still be backing this lot.
When I die I want the Wellington Lions to attend my funeral so they can let me down one last time.

Bizarre match. Thought Waikato in trouble with two rookie front rowers after a few minutes. Savea Love Kirifi and Fidow very good. Didn't think PUJ did much though.
But second half was dominated by Samepeni Finau and James Tucker playing like men possessed. Hard lines Wellington but the subs were a step down.
