News!
That's right there with the article about the wife that stayed with her transgender husband for 12 years since he "transformed"

Definitely pays not to write shit online when you’re pissed.
The fern is exempt from this rule of course.

Obviously a stupid and dickish move by the twat, but now comes the overload of virtue signallers piling on and effectively killing a business. What about all the poor folk that will be out of work? The bloke has resigned, that ought to be enough.

I think an apology and an explanation of the context was enough personally but that’s just me.
Mind you that’s no where near enough in this day and age of perfectly behaved virtue signallers who’ve never made mistakes in the heat of a moment.

There seems to be some debate about whether he has truly resigned. I agree it's harsh the company and other employees suffer but I get sick off assholes getting caught out and then pushing the "I'm not a racist line". Of course you fucking are twat. Maori are the scourge of NZ and should all be put in jail. There's no walking back from that sort of comment.
@MN5 I've made plenty of mistakes in my life. I wouldn't consider myself a virtue signaler either but as above tearful remorse and it's all the pressure I'm under / it's not who I am etc just doesn't cut it for me. If you weren't a racist you would never even think of making a comment like those he put up. There have to be personal consequences for such a contemptible post and I'm quite comfortable with him losing his job (and finding it difficult to get another) as long as innocents don't go down with him

@taniwharugby PETA really are oxygen thieves

I didn’t know there was some doubt about the guy’s resignation and that does put a different slant on things. Also I’m quite ok with there being personal consequences for him. Not so happy with all the virtue signallers dumping the company and that’s what it is, otherwise why make a big announcement about it? Why not just quietly follow your own moral compass?

How else would people know you're a better person? Where's your dopamine hit coming from if you can't get notifications from people you don't know praising you for the least possible effort on your behalf?

Isn't that what the companies are doing? Just because you say it's virtue signalling, it doesn't mean they're not following their own moral compass.
The only person to blame for the negative effect on this company is the twat who posted that shit. He's a fucktard, companies not wanting to be associated with him don't deserve your scorn - he does.

Quite a few have come out and said that this isn't the first time they have baulked at his behaviour and that this was the final straw as far as stocking product went. It was the only way that the message was going to get through.
Best that he rides off into the distance and lets the company and staff continue without him. -

The other point is that reporters are probably chasing this story, so companies have to be ready comment (especially if you are a big enough player). My guess is that the business' cited in this article were approached by the journalist, not the other way around.

I've only been nervous on a flight once. Returning to London from Egypt you could hear wind whistling round one of the doors so loud that you could not hear the movie soundtrack even with headphones. Cabin crew stuffed towels around the doorWe didn't divert or land but it was a bit eerie. @Snowy how 'normal' is this?
I just remembered this. DM me if you really want to know. I won't bore anybody else with it.

We need more plane stories on here, not less!

You seem to have taken the broken record nomination quite badly. Not the spirit it was intended. Quite the opposite, actually.
