I'd forgotten him, and it appears so had Fozzie
Has he been forgotten or just the combination of recovering from injuries and games not going quite how we would have liked have meant Grace/Akira/Papalii haven't got the time on the field we would have liked?
I'm not sure it is necessarily a bad thing for Grace/Papalii - I think another year of Super Rugby will help them really push for a starting AB place, Foster just needed to see if the Cane/Ardie/Frizell option would work.
For Akira, he is ready in 2020 - will be interesting to see if he gets a run in the final game as Matera and co will provide a very good measure of how he can play at International level.

@booboo Grace got 30 seconds in the loss to Aus I think...really useful.
Kinda my point.

DisGraceful.
I’m not gonna upvote this.....but for what it’s worth I guffawed.

No way to Foster talent.
Our loose forwards got Caned

Some interesting stats on that page. This one jumped out, we are twice as likely to get a yellow card compared to our opponent. Either our discipline sucks or refs hate us
Data is for last 5 years i.e. Since McCaw retired
It isn't that refs hate you as much as it is your subsequent captains have sucked

@NTA He looked the goods a few years ago. Berry is better now IMO.
Damned with faint praise

BUT THE RID CARDS BRO!!!
How about the consistency of law application, excellent stuff there. Maybe they should sit him down with AFG so that you can guess what they're saying to each other? I think you're really good at it after your refs course.

Was Patty T still recovering from mystery illness? Know Scooter was being 'rested' but if Pa T was he shouldn't have started.

That was kind of interesting, but I'm resisting joining the Roar just so I can abuse him for calling Super rugby club rugby. Lets see how long I can hold out for.

He’s not playing like he was for the Blues that’s for sure.
The Savea and Frizzel analysis was pretty damning too. We are playing the wrong people there, Frizzel is just not good enough.

Pat T has been given a lot of chances at the international level but he just hasn't fronted for some reason. He has been at the heart of some poor forward shows (Chicago, Sydney...).

I've always fancied him as someone that can provide a lot of punch off the bench. He's done that well a few times. But with our locking stocks so low he's had to be a starter.

It’s been because of diet apparently. They got his diet (timing of it) right this year and he’s been great.
Then he got injured at the end of SRA and hasn’t come back the same, plus illness I guess. Worth persevering with, but maybe from the bench.
The alternatives are a rookie or a retard. (tm Duluth)

@KiwiMurph He's been one of the very few success stories this season. I'd definitely start him and drop Tuipulotu back to the bench.

Another article, right about Foster's team
Well they certainly don't read the Fern.
"The national calamity – feared, if largely unspoken about, since the underwhelming appointment of Steve Hansen’s former assistant late last year – has become a reality."
I'm actually a bit tired of "speaking about it".
