I hate to say it but are we too arrogant, so many just dumb shit, SB last week, Coles this week, RM missing touch, Clarke taking the mark and not passing to Mouga or Barrett. Out set piece also went to shit missing lineouts 5m out, scrum got penalised again. This is looking like a tough reign under Foster.

Playing people in their specialist position is my surprise suggestion to the coaching staff.
Oh and revisiting the midfield.
I'm beginning to think (and this surprises me after the Conrad Smith years) we have enough good 13s but are missing quality 12s.
Arguably ALB, JG, PUJ (my preference, I think, need to see more of him) and RI are 13. ALB is a goodish 12 as well and the best 12/13 bench replacement but is he the best 12? Perhaps. NL doesn't look 100% and we don't have many other options. I miss Crotty. -

Reiko has that covered
I don't want to pile shit on Reiko, but he has done one or two seriously dumb things this year.
Not that he's the only dumb one, not by a long chalk.

I’m really looking forward to the Wallaby Puma game, might Ben a game I can actually enjoy. I wonder what the mood around camp will be like next few weeks.
It is astounding how much I'll cheer the Pumas that game.
They've won me over. -

That looked like a team that was poorly coached and poorly prepared.
It's the mental attitude and senior player leadership which seems the problem for me and that's been going downhill for several years.
And I'm not sure if Foster is the one to sort that out.

@nostrildamus Reiko is not a test centre. He is one of the best wings in the world however. Taking JG off today was a mistake.

The Argies are generally a likeable team. I used to like them even during the Porta years when he was the only back above 9 allowed to join in..
-
We have gone from being the games innovators to a team struggling for ideas .
Lost to the wallabies and the pumas in successive weeks playing dumb rugby . Really dumb .
Concerning

@akan004 It’s because they are running off an old template of a speed game with light back-like loose forwards running oppositions ragged. Three problems with that - one, you need to win first phase possession, two you need to be competitive at the breakdown and three, you need a strategy that has not already been on show for five years. This is very ordinary and unimaginative coaching. It’s like when Tim Cook took over from Steve Jobs at Apple. The thinking was ‘we have a winning formula. Just keep on churning out product based on the same template that the rest of the world has already worked out years ago’. It’s stale thinking from mediocrities standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before and enabled by conservative money men who are chained to what they think is a winning formula.

I would love to hear what BB really thinks of Foster and what has happened the last few years. I have a sneaking suspicion behind closed doors he thinks foster is a fluffybunny. This no doubt creeps into the culture of players etc and may help explain why he has just been off for some time.

@nostrildamus he can do that at the level below. In tests we need him to do his core roles well.
