Both our hookers were disappointing, Jordie is still not a wing, Ardie is not a no. 8, Mounga was inaccurate, Frizzell/ Tuipolotu not providing impact to go with size - lost contact, Reiko not a centre.

Foster will get no wake up calls from anything. Trust me on this as a long time Chiefs fan...

Scott barret at 6 next time...mark my words

And he’ll pick Jodie at 1210

    FIFY

    Probably at halfback...

We just lost to a team ranked 10th I suggest that has never happened before.

Weren’t Argentina paying 10 bucks or similar? Must be one of the bigger rugby upsets in some time.

My mate placed $20 on the Argies at $13.

I always wonder why, when the game is over, or almost over, there seems to be this massive step up in urgency. Why not earlier?

Seems like a team mental attitude. If they aren't up at half-time they seem to panic - unless they score pretty much straight away.

Then it's panic mode and after that, throw everything at the other side.

At least that was against the Wallabies who were right up there at the time. This is against such a lowly ranked team.

They played like they expected to win.

This team has the most Blues players in it that we've seen in a while. I don't believe in coincidences.

None of the wings did much. Just a game where the Argies were fired up and the AB's didn't respond

That was shit. We need to have a rethink about the whole way we play rugby.

We just aren't very intelligent. When Hansen was coach, we would kick the ball a lot in the first half. Then in the second half we would keep the ball in hand and run over teams. Today, we also kicked the ball away a lot in the second half when we were chasing the game. I don't Beaudy, Mo'unga or any other first five we have produced since Carter is actually able to control a game.

I don't know what to say about our ruck work - it seems we just have too many players who want to carry the ball and don't want to be stuck at the bottom of a ruck.

I don't know what to say about our attack either. Argentina defended magnificently but we had enough opportunities to win that game. I think the final figure was a bit higher but to only run 126 metres in a game is disgraceful for any team, let alone us. I wouldn't think this bunch of players should need a lot of coaching on how to attack or break down another team.

There is a lot of thinking for Foster to do. If we lose in two weeks, his position is untenable.

We knew Foster would be crap. It was his turn. That’s the extent of the thinking from the NZRU. He has no new ideas. A new team needed new thinking. But a horribly conservative selection process has condemned a lot of young players to the career epitaph of ‘I was in the first All Black team to lose to Argentina’. If he doesn’t resign, they need to sack him.
