@Machpants nah I reckon he knew he was on hhe wrong side and thought if he gave it to us he avoids a penalty.
On big Karl, yea looked like he is placing it back for the 9, which was pretty luck really cos if he doesnt score himself with 3 men outside....

But fuck, maybe I'm just in the minority here amd out of touch, and maybe all the average punters really wants is hot chips and a crappy pie. Its certainly the lowest effort and if the $ aren't there from changing then I guess why would they?
It's certainly one of the reasons why I don't get out for games. I can take the family out for a nice meal then go home and watch the game while Al Bundying on my sofa without having to worry about being rained on. I can also have an esky full of beers and snacks and I'd still be paying less than if we all went to the stadium. It's a freaking ripoff and I can't believe people actually pay those prices, not only for actually getting in, but some soggy farking chips and 400ml of XXXX Gold in a plastic cup. And what if your team loses!!!!

I was just so happy when he caught the ball ! I think it would have been asking too much for him to pass as well!

What a shit game.
The first half was bad, highlighted by the dogshit first quarter. Errors, shit play, more errors.
Considering the scoreline we were crap. The wallabies basically gift wrapped our points, especially the first 26. Unforced error after Unforced error. We can't even take credit for forcing the error, we just waited for their kids to fuck up. And they did, a lot. Then missed a tackle.
When we were forced to play phases and create, we did nothing, for 40 minutes. The wallabies made their front on tackles, and were forced in to box kicks. Or made our own error. It was just shit.
On a couple of players.
Goodhue is painfully slow. Gor burned for the Wallabie try, and on a kick chase got burned by everyone
Seriously, can we not find a better halfback than TJP? His passing is fucking bad. The drop when Smith goes off is massive.Glad I didn't go out of my way to watch live.

Not sure if this had been mentioned but Hos was very impressive in creating that try for RI. It was a lighting fast pickup from the base of the scrum that created the try. The Aussie flanker and halfback had no idea the ball was even out, it was that quick. Not many 8s can do that.

Miserable fluffybunny.Which bit is wrong?
Watching AB players score pretty tries against witches hats when handed the ball is nothing new.
Watching us do fuck all the rest of the game is pretty ordinary
We were far better a fortnight ago

Like NTA , I was at behind the sticks so couldn't see a lot, and TBH, most of the night for me was about making it fun for the kids, building that love for live sport etc.
So I'm about to watch a replay on Fox now.
Its only 11am here, but its after lunch in NZ right, so I'm ok to crack a beer?

Just switched on the box and the final quarter of the game last night is on. Rieko looked genuinely chuffed about his try, good for the confidence. JB ran a great line for his try and RM made a nice pass, but it was Aussie turning the ball over to Whitelock and failing to react to it in time that set it up. Ruthless play by the MIB

A mate of mine paid over $200 to watch the ABs draw in the rain a few weeks back.
A mutual mate said he’d get tickets but neglected to mention the price. Said mate was spewing he got stung for that much. I was quite comfortable watching on the couch with as much beer and chippies as I could handle.

I am with @mariner4life. The ABs were gifted their points in the first half and when Aussie stood up for 30 odd minutes in the second half the ABs were rubbish. The result and record score is making the performance seem better than what it actually was.
-
@mariner4life they got a few tries from set piece which were excellent. Our set piece went well, yes JG missed a tackle but it happens. The ABs overall kicking game was very good finding space. BB chip for Mounga shows some good game IQ. A Smith delivery was excellent and they won by a record margin. Yes the Wallabies were shit and yes after half time we struggled a bit but I was very happy with the performance. Can we do better, of course but after Wellington I will take that performance every day of the week.
-
If I'm Dave rennie our first try is the one that pisses me off the most.
Decent but not outstanding maul, simple phase to the posts and then switch back. Same as every other team in the world does. And we have a 4 on 1 overlap? That's appalling
