If you want to die of liver failure, down a pint every time foster says exciting or excited in an interview. It's about once every minute. I know they have the walking towards pressure and all that good stuff, but it's starting to piss me off already!

    Stats and facts

    • Halfback Aaron Smith will play his 95th Test on Saturday and move onto the top ten list of most capped All Blacks of all time.

when you check out the list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New_Zealand_national_rugby_union_team_player_records#Most_caps) it's remarkable how many were in the same team. McCaw, Mealamu, Woodcock, Carter, Nonu, Mils, Conrad - 7 of the top 10 debuted between 02 and 04.

Obviously they play more tests these days as well, but the team was loaded in the 2010s, AB fans were properly spoiled

Any chance of a late change to put Laumape in? Get the brick shit house to charge at the rookies.

Wake up Rancid! He will be doing that in the last 25 minutes or so.

    they are new. not small.

He's a nightmare to tackle regardless of size.

Not if they pull the rookies by then. I've always felt Laumape is best to start games and soften up the defence.

Hopefully, we'll see a bit of Richie Mo'unga magic against those new inside backs.

I'd rather keep the same midfield that performed well in Auckland. I don't like the idea of shifting Goodhue to 13 or having Goodhue come off the bench.

Any in the black jersey would be a nice change

21-year-old Caleb Clarke gave the Wallabies nightmares in a barnstorming All Blacks debut in Bledisloe II. Now the Wallabies are out for revenge for that 17-7 hammering, and they’ve put a target firmly on the winger’s back.

Daugunu told journalists on Wednesday: We’re looking forward to playing against him again on Saturday.

“Our aim is to kick to him and contest (the ball) – for him to catch it so we can smash him. Our target for this week was him. I can’t wait to hit him.”

Asked if the Kiwi gun had a target on his head, Daugunu simply said “yes.”

If i am on debut, and the middle of a new combination, i would much prefer to mark someone who i know is going to run straight at me, not matter how hard, than someone who is going to make me make decisions all the time.

    FFS - I wish they’d give the Ioane’s a go.

Instead we have a wing who makes Caleb Ralph look fast and a loosie who looks like a superstar at SR and invitational XV level but is yet ti translate that to the big show.

Not much else to quibble with other than although surprised by the Laumape selection.

@KiwiMurph I thought trying to put a big hit on was often why they missed him... some regulation tackles round the legs would probably work a lot better.

99th Test for Slipper. Nice big man. Hope you get over the line again before 100... no, NOT THAT LINE...

Lotta green there, but really what have we got to lose at this point? Rennie is picking guys in position, and the 9-10-12 axis is Brumbies, while 13-14 are Reds, so there are a couple of combinations there to work with.

I like the opportunity for McReight off the bench as well. Really rate him but he's in a David Croft style logjam for 7 with Hooper and Liam Wright. Hope he goes well as he killed it at U20 and showed real promise for the Reds.

Interesting move to drop Gordon for McDermott but I think the young man has potential
