@akan004 bit like those absolute knob jockeys who have spent every second of their lives living in Aus but support the ABs because their great grandad was a kiwi or some fucken nonse (see also NSWeslhmen supporting Queensland)

To be fair, most probably have Kiwi parents who have indoctrinated them since birth.

@mariner4life green but no fear, perhaps also the reasoning for us to pick our bench the way we did

I know little about them having not watched much of the aussie comp this year .

    Are they any good ?

I think the comments already seem fair. They are talented from what I saw, but we have all seen youngsters play at the top level, sometimes they step up naturally, sometimes they need more time. I think they will bring a lot of confidence and wont be overawed by the situation initially. The question for me, will be can they maintain that composure if the scoreboard doesn't go their way. Wait and see I guess

If they all debut in a similar vein as Caleb Clarke started his second test, then Aussie will be laughing

Fuck of a lot easier to make a smashing start on the wing, then it is at ten! Esp when your team is dominant

Is that 9 Blues and 5 Crusaders? Honestly never thought I'd see the day. Better win!

It’s this sort of provincial crap that I can’t stand. One team, one All Blacks, one purpose, one goal.

    😎

@Crucial Based on SRAu Simone and Petaia are our best two centres. Both pretty green, though.

Apart from 'Simone and Petaia' sounding like characters from a revamped Lion King, I was thinking more about test experience including the bench. All green. Experience counts when legs get tired.

Would be a shame to see Caleb Clarke targeting that inexperienced center combo off set plays. An awful shame.

    Stats and facts

    • Halfback Aaron Smith will play his 95th Test on Saturday and move onto the top ten list of most capped All Blacks of all time.

when you check out the list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New_Zealand_national_rugby_union_team_player_records#Most_caps) it's remarkable how many were in the same team. McCaw, Mealamu, Woodcock, Carter, Nonu, Mils, Conrad - 7 of the top 10 debuted between 02 and 04.

Any chance of a late change to put Laumape in? Get the brick shit house to charge at the rookies.

If you want to die of liver failure, down a pint every time foster says exciting or excited in an interview. It's about once every minute. I know they have the walking towards pressure and all that good stuff, but it's starting to piss me off already!

Obviously they play more tests these days as well, but the team was loaded in the 2010s, AB fans were properly spoiled

Wake up Rancid! He will be doing that in the last 25 minutes or so.

Not if they pull the rookies by then. I've always felt Laumape is best to start games and soften up the defence.

Hopefully, we'll see a bit of Richie Mo'unga magic against those new inside backs.

I'd rather keep the same midfield that performed well in Auckland. I don't like the idea of shifting Goodhue to 13 or having Goodhue come off the bench.

21-year-old Caleb Clarke gave the Wallabies nightmares in a barnstorming All Blacks debut in Bledisloe II. Now the Wallabies are out for revenge for that 17-7 hammering, and they’ve put a target firmly on the winger’s back.

Daugunu told journalists on Wednesday: We’re looking forward to playing against him again on Saturday.

“Our aim is to kick to him and contest (the ball) – for him to catch it so we can smash him. Our target for this week was him. I can’t wait to hit him.”

Asked if the Kiwi gun had a target on his head, Daugunu simply said “yes.”
