As usual the Chiefs hit fairly hard with overseas defections. Do we have a collective list of those unavailable for Super 2021? My notes have these:
Blues: Matt Duffie, Joe Marchant
Chiefs: Tumua Manu, Michael Allardice, Tiaan Falcon, Tyler Ardron, Brodie Retallick
Canes: Ben Lam
Highlanders: Rob Thompson, Jesse Parete
Crusaders: nil -

@ARHS ...great...the champions keep all their champion players
And might be adding some to their squad

Not solid. Just heard something re Evans early this year and nothing since. That is why I ask. Scrap him off my query list if not so.
Perhaps Aaron Cruden and Dan Carter should be added??? Keen to have someone update the list against contract records. It is quite a short list really.

Didn't know where to put this story, but sounds pretty crazy

The New England Free Jacks have:
- signed Otago midfielder Aleki Morris-Lome (2021-2022)
- re-signed former AB7s Beaudein Waaka (2021-2022)

Ma'a Nonu is returning to Toulon! He has been signed as an "additional player".

Anti exodus. Good news. I reckon razor should challenge himself, get out of his comfort zone, and coach another SR team. I nominate the Canes!

The Canes lost half their homegrown ABs and half their support base the last time they parachuted in a Cantab coach. Probably best he goes to the bottom of the table Chiefs.

I'd be more comfortable if the news was that he had actually signed with NZR already. This is just an article about the negotiations.
I don't think he'll go anywhere else but the Crusaders, but if he'd go anywhere else, I reckon the Highlanders would be more likely (although I'd prefer the Canes).
