@Snowy nah, definitely don't want to discuss winning titles or a team performing better than it's parts might suggest with someone so inexperienced.
When was that last title again lads?
I miss @jegga but in his memory - GFYs.

@Canes4life I'm not sure what's going to happen. I hope they move Brendon O'Connor to the bench and Evans to 7. Last year, MMT played most games at 6, with Flanders coming off the bench, but I'm not sure where the Magpies coaches prefer to play them if they both start. With MMT playing at 8 the entire SR and SRA season, there's a good chance he'll end up in the 8 jersey if Evans isn't wearing it.
@Canes4life I would go Flanders at 6, keep MMT at 8 where he's been going well.

Playing club rugby on Sat 8 August:
Wellington
Liam Mitchell (Wainuiomata), so not in Manawatu
Chase Tiatia (Hutt OBM)
Salesi Rayasi (Hutt OBM)
Jonathan Taumateine (MSP)
Julian Savea (Oriental-Rongotai) at 12
Murphy Taramai (Upper Hutt Rams)Hawke's Bay
Danny Toala? (Hastings)I see there's a Kane Thompson playing for Johnsonville (18). Is that the Samoan International, who played for the Chiefs and Highlanders, and several provinces? Or just someone with the same name?
-
@Stargazer His father often turns up at my club's games. If he is on the sideline tomorrow it will be a pretty good indication that the J/ville one is not "the" Kane Thompson. Having said that "the" Kane Thompson did play a few games for J/ville a couple of years ago so it probably is him.

Interesting, maybe without his pace he may be quite effective at 12.

Played 12/13 in France

@Machpants was he any good there? Unless he has a mind blowing NPC I don't really see the upside of bringing back a player that was on the downward slope three years ago. Hope he proves everyone wrong though because he deserves a sweet ending to his career.
-
@Canes4life Wasn't about a million bucks a year salary up in France a sweet enough end to his career?
-
@Canes4life he was fairly average in the highlights I saw then again going from playing on the wing into 12 is abit of a difference the switch from wing to 13 would’ve been easier but they had Fekitoa for the first season.

@Canes4life I assume you meant to post this?
-
@Stargazer either or. Looks like Aumua won't be going anywhere any time soon. Seems pretty happy playing his career out in Wellington.

@Canes4life For some reason, I couldn't watch the instagram post, you posted. I had to guess what it was.
