@Nepia it was after he left Northland and got involved with those Makos he went downhill!

Alaimalo is one of those players who has had rotten luck when it comes to injury, his 2018 super rugby was pretty outstanding.

    Two things i just noticed:
No Cruden, so i guess last week was his last game for the Chiefs.

No Julian Savea. The race is still on to see which out of him and NMS was the more pointless signing. Could add Carter to that too but it sounds like he is adding lots off the field.

NMS was signed for next year too, with the expectation that he would play this and next season. Bus has been signed basically as a trial and was never expected to play this game. Bus is trying to train his way into the squad for next year.

Canes coaches, as numpty as they are about locks, have gone in with eyes open to Julien. Not so sure about N Milner-Hammer

@KiwiMurph he’s actually my second cousin. His Grandad was my Grandmas brother. That’s on the Curry side of the family so he is mostly white. 😁

His Dad's from Wairoa, you can't get any more Māori than that.

    Also, you forgot Bro-den Barrett.

Raetihi. Best town in NZ. Nothing there, but the best people.

The only person I know from Raetihi is a white farmer girl who went to Iona College (girls boarding school in Havelock North). 😉

@junior funnily enough Goosen was mentioned as a possible AB a season or so ago don’t see Sean Wainui anywhere near being an AB. I don’t see Any of the Chiefs have anywhere near the work rate of Goosen.

deluded Hurricanes fans mentioning their average players as "possible All Blacks" doesn't count for very much

I think they believe it's now a roster after Webber got a gig, some bench players and anyone signed for Crusaders.

@mariner4life Not as bad as Chiefs fans sickeningly dribbling over average players.

I'm a possible all black. I'm also a possible romantic partner of Scarlett Johansson.

It's just very very very very unlikely.

@mikey07 and they can't score tries which is quite vital towards winning games.

They're not. They're just not laughably looking at the opposition wings and saying they gain confidence from seeing it when their wings aren't exactly Jonah and Tana.

You could almost literally look anywhere else for an advantage on paper/form and the only area where there isn't one, was the one chosen. That takes some analysis.
