If the Crusaders win and the Blues lose (The Blues won't lose) is it all over Mary, wipe ya leg for the comp?
For the good of the competition and to make amends for the last 20 odd years of Super rugby being ruined because of Crusader victories, turning relative nobodies into All Blacks, ‘hoarding’ local 1st 5 talent, throwing Ta$man players a lifeline, giving some fella named Richie McCaw a go....because of all that, Razor will be forfeiting the match. It’s just to risky if we were to play and win.

20 Vaea Fifita
21 Jamie Booth
22 Vince Aso
23 Chase TiatiaBen Lam will play his 50th and final game for the Hurricanes when they take on the Crusaders in Christchurch this Saturday.
Lam’s been with the Hurricanes since 2017, and in that time, he’s scored 32 tries (160 points) for the Hurricanes.
Co-captain Dane Coles will not travel with the squad due to a minor back complaint. It means Asafo Aumua takes over the number two jersey, with Ricky Riccitelli on the bench.
The rest of the starting XV remains largely unchanged, with the only exception being Wes Goosen who gets the nod ahead of Kobus Van Wyk.
On the bench, Chase Tiatia, Tevita Mafileo and Vince Aso come into the fold – with the rest left status quo.

No Magpies in the starting lineup, I'm cheering for the oppo, ah crap, they're playing the Crusaders ... well I'll have to grit my teeth and cheer for the Canes now.
Coles is a big loss.
dont you feed to the Laders? ;o) no smith again, how did Garden-Bachop go last week?
-
They're obviously picking Prinsep now when he's fit so not even worth mentioning this selection anymore. Feel for Flanders though but at least he's signed for another couple of years so that jersey should be his in future (the sooner the better)
No Coles is a loss, would rather Van Wyk than Tiatia
Keen to see Rayasi on the wing after Lam leaves

I thought Kirifi was superb last week. Saders work when the ball hits the deck has been a little up and down, so it’s an area of concern for me.

@Nepia Typical Canes, a player says he's leaving (van Wyk) and they drop him. But still no room for Toala and Lowe. Instead, ugghh, Tiatia on the bench.
I would have left van Wyk in the starting team for this game only. Hes been playing well.
Agree on Toala. Tiatia is limited (rubbish) and they need to give their young players game time
Too many weak links in the team. Esp Blackwell

I thought he had a good game. Maybe his best for the Canes so far

Vice-Captain David Havili has been ruled out for the season after fracturing the base of his right thumb against the Blues, meaning the competition's leading try scorer, Will Jordan, will start at fullback.
Jack Goodhue joins Whetukamokamo Douglas as Vice-Captain in Havili's absence, and is set to partner with Fetuli Paea in the midfield this week, after centre Braydon Ennor was ruled out with a toe injury. Brett Cameron and Leicester Fainga'anuku have both joined the playing 23 this week, and will provide cover on the bench.
