England Vs Ireland, Six Nations 2020

Fark me, I'd bloody love to see a modern day Colin Meads deal with Farrell and his antics

Think he'll be haunted by that photo with Bono too.
Bono at a U2 rick concert, slowly clapping his hands: "Every time I clap my hands a child dies in Africa"
Loud voice from audience: "Well, fooking stop clapping then"
-
Sexton's kicking nightmare become reality...again.

If you rewind and look closely I'm pretty sure Poite was just telling Sinckler to "cup his balls".
Probbly Ireland's main victory over England on the field today

Fuggenhell. That's a late hit and if it's not late it's a dangerous charge. Where was the wrapping arms?
Can only think Poite thought the Orish player lost his footing. Bizarrely inconsistent not to have the TMO look at it.
-
There's an Oirish bloke called "Doris" on the field.
Pretty much sums up Ireland today
-
Ireland seem better when Sexton & Murray departed.
Another performance like today and their days will be numbered.
-
Ireland get a late try.
Not under the sticks sadly - and Sexton's off the field so we won't get the sheer pleasure of seeing another Sexton shocker.

All in all a bit meh for me. With the platform our front five were providing I’d have liked to see a bit more dominance and real incision. I reckon Wales will look at that game and fancy their chances if they get anywhere near parity up front.
So. What about Eddie’s contentious selections? Well Lawes gave a MOTM performance, doing all the second row things very well. Joseph spent as much time in the midfield as he did on the wing and Curry was a little anonymous.
I’d call that another failed experiment. Or rather the same failed experiment.

For a failed experiment England's defence really sets their platform. Absolutely dominated Ireland, but I agree they should get more out of it.
That being said, it's a cross in the win column.
