The Black Caps getting screwed at the CWC and the ABs screwing themselves at the RWC made for a tough year sporting wise. Going online and moaning about it with a bunch of sad bastards like myself does seem to help, so thanks for all the yarns, and GFYs.

Not a disaster but I went to the Mrs' family get-together. Their family do a secret santa system so they all get one awesome present each. So I wouldn't be left out my Mrs said that her parents were getting me a gift but that was all. So all I went with was a gift for her folks.
Well as it turns out I end up getting gifts not only from her folks but also her brother, her sister who that day flew in from Europe and even her new boyfriend who that day flew in from the States...so yeah great grinch impression on the family there.
