Only voted for Savea, everyone else was equally rubbish.

I'm shocked to see Reece getting votes. How many times did the ball get kicked over his head? That compounded our territorial issues. One great tackle but also a really bad intercept.

Only Ardie really deserves a vote.

Ardie made his tackles but I thought he was ineffectual in the 1st half and never competed at the breakdown.

Except for the turnovers he got.

Partly that's because no one else was fronting up and he got cleaned out every time.

He got 1 turnover but that was in the 2nd half wasn't it?

I just thought the ABs were too passive and never looked to compete, unlike Curry and Underhill.

@Bovidae He was just as ineffectual as the AB’s when we lost to Oz in Perth. Being dominated in the forwards tends to create these scenarios.

He was the only one being physical, he was let down by his team mates. Even then he still got turnovers

The All Blacks did not compete in the rucks during the first half. Savea started to try to compete during the second half but he was often left on his own. Where were the locks and the props ?

I thought Savea, Reece and Retallick were our most combative and effective players last night

    A. Smith was a workhorse I thought. He was taking on the big boys when our big guys were missing.

Goodhue was our best and I'd have subbed ALB instead of him. Reece created some chances and looked likely, yes he had some defensive lapses but... ah, our whole team was pretty ave on that front.

Damn, this one is hard, and I'm not going to do my second watch to help decide (even the Perth match was rewatchable). I think Goodhue was good and then there were a bunch who tried hard but for whatever reason were mostly ineffectual - BBBR, Whitelock, ALB, Reece. There was one group of rucks where Cane made three tackles in a row as expected, but he was too late on and gave up a penalty. I've seen Coles and SBW cop some flack on various threads but they were definitely in the trying box and they both made some inroads.

I'm going to have to leave this a few days to see whether I can muster up the courage to rewatch.

Jordie Barett. I noticed him every time the play came near him. Really had a big impact on the game...

Sheesh, I thought his decision making left a lot to be desired. If I was Rattue I’d be demanding a public square explanation as to the box kick just outside our attacking 22 alone. And that wasn’t one of those platform was a problem issues. We were on attack and actually building.

I will go out on a limb here and say Crotty may have been useful at some stage
