Play on? Surely that was tackled in the air?
He's got it now, but it should be play on. For me, a player who jumps to catch a pass is putting himself in danger.

Can't read too much into this game, but Uruguay have looked pretty good.

I agree, but ever since Sinckler managed to get a Lions tour drawn by it, apply the laws consistently.

Best of the second tier nations

And now Davies takes a quick tap from the side of the ruck.

It's a dilemma isn't it. Should the ref enforce a dumb interpretation merely for consistency's sake? Or is that just a ref making a dumb interpretation?
There is no principle of stare decisis in rugby.

A f*ck. Wales didn't deserve another try.
Haha, and the commentator calls Wales the only undefeated team of pool play. Yeah, heck, some games were canceleld.
Really dumb thing to say. Were NZ, England and France not "undefeated".

I don't think a player jumping to catch something because he has to to reach it is the same as jumping into a tackle.

He's a dumb fluffybunny.
I suspect he may have meant to suggest they are the only team to have won all their matches.
But wait for Japan perhaps.
And a no result recorded as a draw means both England and NZ have won all their matches to date.
