Did I read somewhere when they qualified for the world cup they made the top side professional and paid them. So they trained hard and got fit.

Let's hope that can continue. I would say that I hope they get some players into European Cup teams, but I am afraid that if they do, the clubs will make them unavailable for Uruguay.

Considering the shit warm-up games Uruguay played in preparation of the RWC, they've really done a great job.
