Stuff has Bonococks stamp up now, it's pretty hard to defend it by saying he was trying to free his leg .

OK so where can I watch the NZ coverage of the game? The whole thing? Fecking English commentary was wholly morbid by comparison!

Nothing will happen. Trying to cite him will be as futile as his protest with Mr 5th generation farmer.

I was overdosing on nicotine in real-time and distracted (live commentary was British feed) and watched a replay in Espanol (y nada comprende) so I missed why Moore was pulled at 55 mins. Okay, line-outs were a shambles, but he's their leader. What was the reason given for his substitution?

Watching again. If the All Blacks have a weakness, it's from the 50th to 65th minute in an RWC Final :)

What really drove this home to me was how, unlike 2011, the ABs were able to enjoy the winning rather than relief.

I have done the same 🙂 Needed a memento from this group of players - the best AB side ever without a doubt. When I am old I will pull out the jersey and recount tales of their greatness to my grandchildren.

It's especially gratifying the ABs did it running through the only three teams (FRA, SA, OZ) who have ever beaten them in RWC competition. There was no hiding from the foes, they had to vanquish every one of them, on neutral ground, and they did.

In a local rugby website here - after instant dismissal of the vision on the grounds that Lovely Lancelot wasn't even looking, didn't know anyone was there, it wasn't a stomp and, anyway, Cynical Sir Richie the Cheat was cynically gripping his leg to cynically impair his superiority, the linked report now redirects to a piece about <strike>him</strike> Him rescuing a kitten trapped in a tree or something, owned by a kiddie, on his day off, a Sunday in fact.

I was too buggered to really absorb anything this morning but the achievements of this team are really starting to sink in now.

By winning this they've obliterated all that petty choking shit, about being owned by the French and Aus at world cups and about not being able to win a Cup away from home. They've taken 20 years of hurt and turned it into, imho, unarguably the finest moment in the history of AB rugby.

Some great players are retiring, but a part of me kind of wishes that we could now retire the All Blacks. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I just cant see how it can get any better than this. What a team and what a group of guys. Damn I'm proud.
