See the AB site is running an all time WC team. Interesting if you think about just WC form.

I seem to think that Israel was the pick here. Next would be Osborne in 1995 Or JG 87. Dagg knocked Mils out of position as was unstoppable at times.
I’d course Cullen was 13 in 99 and not at others so knocks him out.

Osbourne in 95 was outstanding. Probably my pick based just on RWC performance.
The others all had better overall careers.

Not convinced with my tight 5. The 91, 99 and 03 cups nobody came to

michael jones was more dominant/influential in '87 than pretty much any other player i've seen.

Kirk was fantastic at halfback in 1987.

Ian Jones was outstanding at Lock in 1995. He dominated the lineout in the final. But all that is forgotten because South Africa won. Brodie Retallick in 2015 deserves an honourable mention too.

Voted Dagg. Didn't have best game in the final, but he was superb in the group game against the French and the Semi against Oz. Excellent under the high ball and always a threat going forward.

@reprobate I agree but McCaws pure guts to play on and lead in terms of the pressure was pretty amazing but for performance Jones.
